he reads the powerpoint slides, take notes, tests are open notes but pretty hard. he does curve. if you fail a test he makes u retake it, but even if you retake it&get an A he will only give u a C. he doesnt seem to care and is boring. i didnt like this class.if you go to every class you get extra points towards ur final grade.bad teacher

if myou don't need to take his class DON'T. He has about 95 power point slides her goes through in about 1 hour and dosent review any of it. he also doesen't post them on vista or anything. I DIDN'T PAY FOR HIM TO TEACH ME. I PAID TO TAKE NOTES ALL SEMESTER.He is a Bad teacher.

It was a pleasure being in his class! He is an awesome teacher and a great guy. He does everything to help you to pass the class. I highly recommend him! One of the best business teachers in CCSU. Like somebody said before: ?a gift to the university?.

Excellent Prof... helpful if you are interested in personal selling. I think he is the best business prof I've had here at CCSU. He is knowledgeable, dedicated and sincerely interested in helping his students. I was not to interested in sales at first but he showed me that it could be a good career choice for me. I am glad I took this course.

Outstanding - outstanding - outstanding. You cannot go wrong with this professor. Laid back, great sense of humor, keeps class interesting, and very up-to-date in his field. As long as you don't skip class, he'll do anything for you, which is more than I can say for other professors. I definitely plan to take another class with Dr. DeCormier.

I am not a CCSU grad. I am taking a summer course there and I have found Dr. D. to be one of the best business prof's I've ever taken. He is interesting, funny, enlightening and knows his material. He is somewhat difficult, but very fair. He is not out to hurt students but to help them become what they want to aspire to. Great Prof.

He tries to intimidate people in the beginning of the class, but it's really not that bad. Your typed notes become the book, there is no real homework, and you'll get one test at the end. Videotaped oral presentation in beginning and end without notes but it's not that bad and he's a reasonable grader. He's very passionate about sales.

Whoever wrote negatively on 12/16/05 about Dr. DeCormier is a complete fool. Dr. D. is a great teacher. He teaches, he works with students, he is helpful and anyone who knows him knows he is probably the best business teacher at CCSU.

DeCormier is one of Centrals best professors. All tests are open notes and the final is open notes and open book. There is one term paper, which is easy to do. Very helpful and is always there for his students. I highly recommend his professor!!!!
