TAKE HIM! I was dreading statistics after my 200 class but this class was completely diff! Class was fun 90% of the time and I actually looked forward to seeing professor Charette. He's very fair and willing to help his students!

Goes on tangents that have nothing to do with math & doesn't make any sense at all. VERY confusing class. I did most of my learning through the book, but anytime I needed help that I asked he WAS very helpful and he made a lot of sense. As long as you do your work, and get help when you don't understand, it's an easy class- I ended up with a B

Awful professor. Spent days talking about Mayan pyramids and Egyptian numbers. Exams had questions on how to write numbers in Mayan, Egyptian, etc. Stories had NO relevance to the subject. Wouldn't learn anything useful until the class before an exam. Tests are open book though.

Took Stat215 with Prof Charette and ended up with an A- and it was pretty easy. Only problem is I still don't really know anything about stats, but this was the last math class I needed for my major, so I'm fine with that. Overall I'd say very good professor. I would definitely recommend him for stats.

I absolutely hate math and I got an A. He is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had--in general, not just for math or since I've been in college. He's just the nicest, cutest little man, and he strives for everyone to get good grades. Take him, you'll be happy you did! :]

Great teacher! Would recommend for anyone! He bring math into the real world, from the Ancient Egyptians, Mayans and Aztecs to even Blackjack! Great teacher... kept forgetting my name though. Easy A if you show effort.

Professor Charette is a great teacher! He really wants students to do well in his class. Helps you every step of the way. Only gives exams when he knows you understand the material and will do well on them. I hate math and never do well with it, but I got an A in this class. Take him if you have to take Stats!
