Talks a lot the whole class period, but cares about the students a lot. He also loves what he teaches and gets energized by it. I definitely recommend taking this class as a history credit.

Wixon is a legend. Simply the best. Tells lots of stories. Doesnt really care if you pay attention, as long as you show up. Treats students like adults. Fair tests. Genuinely wants students to do well. Doesnt give stupid little "busy work" assignments like most LC teachers. Love this man. Oh, and cant forget about "Fun Fact to Win a Beer" trivia!!

I have had many different classes with Professor Wixon and have enjoyed every single one. He is a good professor and truly wants his students to succeed. On the downside, he does get off topic very easily and can come off as a bit crazy, but he knows that subject and is very respectful of his students.

His classes are not pushover easy A's but if you go to class and stay awake you'll do fine with Doc Wixon. He's available if you need help and he spells out his class schedule clearly and follows his notes.

Dr. Wixon is not only the best professor I have ever had,he is the only History prof that made me enjoy the subject. If Wixon offered a class I was in it. He is very entergetic & can tell he loves what he does. If you have a question about anything, he'll know the answer! He's a great Prof!
