Comment:

Had him for 37s lab. Hell come across as a cranky old man wishing he retired years ago but he is nice and funny. Very knowledgeable in physics and explained the labs in very good detail. Has drs hand writing so GL trying to read what he writes. He has his moments though but he is good.

Comment:

Taking this lab on Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. Super easy lab you HAVE TO do the labs. He explains at the start of class & then lets you do your own thing in groups. He says he won't help after explaining but if you REALLY need it he will. Get to leave class once all the groups finish the lab so help each other if needed! No book needed.

I took this class summer semester so I was there everyday. His class is SUPER EASY if you just listen and participate. His lectures begin with him repeating everything from the previous lecture (to get it in your head) and then he continues. The only down is to those who are late. He hates tardiness and he WILL lock you out!

He is an excellent teacher. Very clear on what he expects from you. No surprises. Very smart man. He knows his stuff and has a great sense of humor. I was nervous to take Phys Sci I, which is basically a Physics class, but he made it comprehensible and almost even fun. I have a lot of respect for him. Signed up for his lab, can't wait.

took this class a while ago and it was an easy class. If you actually want to learn something, dont take him. this class is just based of copying and memorizing the hw which he doesnt even explain. He messed up big time on my final grade but fixed it later.

Easy A as long as you do the HW and do well on the quizzes. Gives answers to HW in class. Make friends so you can exchange answers. He doesn't repeat the HW answers. Drops 2 lowest HW grades and 2 lowest quiz grades. 80% of the questions on the final come from the quizzes which he gives the answers to the week before the final.HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

Great teacher. Very funny dry humor. Gives you all the hw answers in class. Quizzes are super easy and the final is mostly questions taken from the quizzes. Strongly recommend this professor.

Professor Fielding is a great professor. I took him for physics 37, 38 and 39 and got A's. He explains the material really good and makes physics interesting. He is one of my Favorite Professor that i have taken!! Take him and u won't regret it:)

PRofessor Fielding is AWESOME!He's one of the best professor's that ive taken in Valley!I took him for physics 37 and 39 and got an A!!He is helpful!U MUST attend class cz there is a signing sheet. He goes through every homework that he gives.Do HW, Study problems from the book and ull do gr8!! Highly Recommended :D

This teacher is amazing. He's really old but fun. He assigns hw but one hour before class ends he goes over every question and the ones he didn't have time for is not required to do. He is a little strict on being there every class and being on time but trust me for a physics class, he was a piece of cake! Just memorize the quizzes and your set.

Prof Fielding is one of the best professors that i have taken, he knows the subject well and willing to help u whenever u need it.Attend class, do the hw and follow his instructions for tests and quizzes, try to work the exercises on the book and ull be fine!! Highly Recommendeddd!! :D

I took his winter 11' and it was really easy to get an A. But theres a lot of work. Hw everyday and consumes a lot if time to writ it out. He gives u the answers and all u have to do is put it in the question. Theres a format and stick to that format cause u will lose pts. Quizes are 5 questions real easy. You learn in his class. I enjoyed him but he is very grouchy at first and intimidating. Its a good class simple. Just do the work, attend, and you'll get an A

Follow what he says. Get into groups and go over the examples. The examples in the book are just like the hw problems and tests questions. He's a good professor, just gets in the way of what he's lecturing as he writes in on the board. I recommend recording his lectures and labs.

He is a great teacher. He repeats himself everyday so the material is embedded in your brain. He is a grumpy professor but good. His tests are extremely easy and homework is not hard- he gives you the answers. Take him if you want easy A.

Professor Fielding makes it easy to get an A, however, it is not at the expense of your learning the subject. He's so great at making the material accessible and comprehensible and interesting and you'll really learn about physics. He's grumpy, and gruff, and sarcastic and utterly charming. <3 Professor Fielding!

Mr fielding is a very interesting teacher with years of proven experience, my summer class was very easy and I learning a great deal about physics and it's background. My advice is take the class 100 percent , you will pass.
