Comment:

I beg you and just overall do yourself one favor in life and NEVER take this Professor. Although he seems to have a calm spirit, he's an angry little man. Everything is paper in the class... packets, homework, vocabulary, you name it. His lectures will be the death of you and you need to watch videos if you want to pass this course. He's confusing.

Comment:

Lectures are long winded and he often got sidetracked. He likes to pick on students and embarrass them. He had multiple complaints that he had to address during the course. However, the coursework is super easy as long as you don't slack off, which is quite possible as the class is pretty boring.

He goes off in dumb stories for 75% of class and you learn absolutely nothing, you have to teach yourself. Gives homework due the day of the test that has NOTHING to do with what weve learned or are going to be tested on. Do not take his class.

Comment:

Old school style professor. I had him for Economics 101 and I loved showing up to class. Teaches right outta the book and he always recapped the previous lesson in class. All you had to do in this class was pay attention, take decent notes, and show up, the rest of it should fall into place. I found his lectures quite engaging.

Fico is a great professor and a very nice guy. He offers help if you ask questions and several extra credit opportunities. Show him you care and pay attention in class and you'll be fine.

The textbook isn't necessarily mandatory for the class if you take well enough notes. I suggest you do though because it is very helpful for reviewing for the exams. Fico also gives a practice exam before every exam. Firm but fair professor. He repeats the material from last class into the next to make sure you understand the material. Good Teacher

Comment:

Fico has been teaching for a while so he knows his stuff. He teaches very well using examples to really make things clear. The packets he hands out are perfect study guides for the tests. He tells it like it is and doesn't hold back which makes him extremely respectable. I would definitely take another class with him.

Very straightforward class. Completed assignments receive full credit. Answer questions for the chapter, hand in, take the test. Move through chapters smoothly and quickly. Be prompt and responsible and you'll get an A.

I loved Fico. He was a great professor. If you bother to show up and pay attention then there's no reason to not get an A. It's actually hard to get anything less in his class. He makes it very easy to get a good grade. To those who say his "explanation" were confusing, well maybe try actually paying attention then you'll understand them.

Fico is a great professor i had him last semester and it was great. The book is mandatory he doesnt teach anything that's not on the book. Read chapters before going to class it helps a lot. Do the homework and attend class everyday it helped me get the grade i got. I recommend him to anyone. Great professor.

Old school teaching style!Chalk board lectures, no powerpoints.Your choice to retain the knowledge.Provides supplemental work packets that are difficult to read,they have been copied so many times(dark/overlapping/cut off text,somewhat helpful).Cut throat way of teaching.Dont expect to be thrilled.Great person,very willing to help,ok professor.

Took this class for the second time because I received a D last semester with Redlo. Fico made things so much easier to understand and would go over things more than once to make sure you got the point. He also gave out a few small hw assignments which helped my overall grade tremendously.

His lessons are pointless, his stories are pointless.. economics is not hard at all, so why does he think he is teaching rocket science... Fico is a teacher not a professor. Thinks he has good things to say about everything, but really he need to shut his mouth. Find a different teacher then fico. anyone.

READ YOUR BOOK. he doesnt say anything about the book, but if you read the chapter before coming to class it will make everything easier. He is kind of bad at explaining, but sometimes he gives you pretty legit answers. Make sure you study for the tests, thats the majority of your grade
