Sarah is such a great professor. Its true she isn't an easy grader. The highest grade I have gotten is B+, but still she is phenomenal. She teaches you soo much and she makes sure you understand what she expects from you. Don't choose this class if you arent serious about acting and if you want to slack off.

Everyone in college has that one professor who just GETS them, and Sarah has been that for me. I had her for characterization, and have also worked with her as a director. She gives the best acting critiques I've ever received, and puts in more effort than any other professor in the DFPA. She is a phenomenal professor, and an amazing person.

Definitely has favorites. very nice lady that pushes you to do your best, but isn't clear about what she expects sometimes. Must go to class..and actually put in effort. Don't take it if you want to slack off and have no interest.

She seems nice but don't be fooled she is such a **** when it comes to grading. She is a really hard grader and it is not an easy core class. Fun and not a lot of work but don't expect an easy A. Or an A at all. She told me she never gives out A's

A lot of freshmen take this class expecting to get an easy A, and then get pissy when they don't. If you're serious about acting, though, you will learn an insane amount about the craft. She does grade pretty tough, but it's totally worth it for everything you'll learn. Highly recommended if you're genuinely interested in theatre.

She is very nice, and she is there to help you. Very patient and unbeat. I only had her for the Univesity 102 class, lots of discussion, but easy grader I'd say. there were many nights were I wrote that paper an hour before and I got an A or B on it. Limited amount of work (one page papers)
