Comment:
Professor Melville is a great person, however, because she teaches primarily history courses, it can be quite boring. She's very passionate about her work and field but doesn't make it all that interesting for the student. She's more than willing to help and grades based on effort/substance. 8.7/10.

She really didnt care about this class. slow grader and gives you no direction as to how she will grade. Class consists of sitting and listening to her drone on about nothing. Material covered is very dry and hard to undertend.

Really didn't enjoy this class. She put way too much emphasis on Greek and Roman times and it made for a very dry class. Couldn't help but fall asleep. Unless you love Greek and Roman history, don't bother with this class.

Definitely a class for those interested the historical aspect of literature. Always do a rough draft on the out-of-class essays and prepare for those in-class essays.
