Comment:

He grades very heavily. He's also not very helpful, especially toward men. This isnt the class you take if your trying to increase your gpa. A's are almost unachievable. His lectures contains 75% of vague information that isnt on the test. He also plans to retire soon, so he's just coasting on old lesson plans and ranting about politics.

Comment:

I was initially excited to take this course but by the time I dropped it I was mentally drained. Few assignments outside of test. Tests are difficult to pass! They are all lecture based, no review or multiple choice. Answers should reflect his exact wording from lecture. He has a nice personality but his teaching skills are lacking.

I started off this semester loving the class itself but as time went on he just made me hate it. He is so specific and its very hard to pass his test. He says his class avg. of 1,100 students taking the test is a 57%. If students arnt passing there is something wrong with how we are being taught. Drop it and get your money back!! Toughest grader!

Get out now!!! My class originally was supposed to have a different professor. We had 24 students. After failing his test, we went over it. I explained that my answers were the same as his. He told me that I was missing his "key"words, so they were wrong. Avg. test score-48. I am dropping this class today and there will be 8 left in the class.

One of the hardest but most rewarding classes you'll ever take. Professor is a wonderful teacher and you will learn A TON. If you're not ready to put in over 10 hrs/wk studying though, the class will be difficult to pass.

Do not take him !!!!! unless you are a biology major. His test are hard and he wants you to be specific and know every little detail. He takes off points if you don't use words he uses in lectures. If you are looking for an essay class do not take him, it will affect your GPA .

do NOT take this course if you're not a Biology or Science major. He expects way too much for teaching a non- science major course and expects students to remember every single thing he teaches and all tests are short and long answer. There's nothing easy about this class.

Terrible. Extremely hard class and even a harder grader. He isn't helpful and laughs when you have questions. He expects you to know things tand the lab is very inependent leaving the class to roam aimlessly. You feel like you're doing everything wrong, because you are, but he doesn't help. Don't take him. You will fail. No no no. Stop. Dont. No.

He is a terrible lecturer but his class is based on them. He gets off subject very easily so he doesn't get to everything he is supposed to yet he expects you to know exactly what he would have said. His online lecture notes are helpful to an extent. All of his tests are open ended, T/F, and matching only. He's a terrible grader; nothing satisfies.

I really liked his lectures, he is interesting to listen to and has a funny dorky sense of humor that helps keep you engaged. If you are not going to come to this class, you will not pass, he favors certain topics in lecture and the tests reflect that. If you do not study, you are doomed. He offers lots of extra credit, do it all it will save you!

Very challenging course. He gives lots of opportunities for extra credit (TAKE ADVANTAGE OF). Without the extra credits i wouldn't have passed the class. Be ready to have your head buried in a textbook. Very very tough grader, will count answers wrong if they are not detailed enough. But over all, knows his stuff and is very willing to help you out

His tests are hard, bc he doesn't give u a review unless u look for it on his online site, but even if u study all the questions on it some of it is on the test. But most of his questions on the test are confusing to understand what he's asking. Book? What's that he has no required book. If u take his class be prepared to use the open lab a lot...

The reviews are mostly true, DONT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! 1. Tough grader have to be very specific in order to get credit or you will get points taken off 2. Talks very fast and everything he says seems super important so bring a voice recorder 3. Test are matching, fill in blank, short essay 4. Drop out rate very high HE will help you though lol

There are a few students on here that say he is funny, his lectures are easy & so forth. However, in all the professors I've had, he is by far the worst. His teaching method is scattered and meshed. His test grading is ridiculous and contradicting. Even when you put the exact wording of answers from his lectures on the test, it's not good enough.

He is s great guy!! He is funny and likes to joke around!! I really tired in his class!! I had to drop even though I really didn't want too!! I DID ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT!! I study everyday for this course!! He is not approachable and is very vague on answering any questions!! Its a lot of information and he doesn't give test reviews!!!!!!!

Get ready to work hard and learn a lot. Lab was almost overwhelming with all the different animals and slides to look at. Lectures interesting with a lot of good powerpoint info he reviews. Tests involve a lot of short essays - no multiple choice.

WORST TEACHER AT ACC! I took his class for Intro to A&P a few semesters ago and he was AWFUL! His lectures are confusing he gives you all short answer or fill in the blank test NO REVIEW NO MULTIPLE CHOICE and NO GRADING CURVES. I took intro to A&P and Human Anatomy and made an A in them both so Im not a bad student DONT TAKE HIM WHATEVER YOU DO!

Such a HORRIBLE class. The lectures are very difficult to follow and his tests are IMPOSSIBLE to make even a B or C on. His expectations for test short answers are just outrageous. 75% of my class dropped the course and the remaining percent was aiming for either a D or a C and we all attended each meeting. He is not helpful.
