Comment:
Intro to Computer Graphics with him will be fantastic if you care about the subject. ASK HIM QUESTIONS WHEN YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND because everyone else in class is wondering the same thing. Assignments are fair, tests are fair, and there are curves. Final is a presentation of a graphics-related project. Not everything from slides will be on exams.

If you're no good at programming or your Google-fu is weak, you'll have a rough time, but the class is interesting and the professor is really helpful if you email him or go to his office hours. All-in-all, he's fair and not hard at all provided you put in at least some effort.

This professor is a nice guy and cares about you learning, but his class isn't very well organized. Assignments were rough and he barely gave us any instructions on what exactly he wanted from them. His power points and notes were often cryptic and hard to understand. Test questions were also poorly worded and confusing.

One of the best professors in the CS program. Accent takes getting used to, time consuming/hard programming assignments, but you'll learn a TON (and have an excellent portfolio after). VERY helpful, he cares a LOT about student success and always very encouraging and helpful during office hours. No surprises on exams, and very thorough reviews.

He is hard to understand so attend every lecture. His handwriting is terrible, write your own notes. All work is points/100 so unless he curves you're out of an A if you lose more than 10 points.

He is very hard to understand with his thick accent. He offers a ton of extra credit and the programs were pretty easy. I think he got mad at the class, because he created a BRUTAL final exam. I had a high A until then. I learned a lot in his class though. TA was WORTHLESS!

Every point earned in his class counts as a percentage towards your grade. Assignment and test difficulty are fair, with the exception of the final. Only real complaint is his notes. If you stop paying attention for a bit, you will lose track of what is going on in class. Has a mild accent, but much better than say, the math department professors.

Not an easy class. Throws you into the desert with nothing but a flask. If you work hard he'll definitely help you. Book was useful only for the first exam out of 3. 'A' is almost impossible to get but passing is easy. Getting a 'B' is not hard either. Be prepared to spend a LOT of time figuring out how to put things together in openGL and GLSL.

Great professor, and one of the most helpful teachers I've ever had, but this class is very hard, no matter what someone else might have told you. Unless you are good with OpenGL, get used to staying up past your bed time working on programming projects.

This class is hard. I got A's in big discrete, architecture, OS and programming languages. This class was not an A. The tests are incredibly hard, and the programs aren't much easier.

He has a mild Indian accent, but I understood him. I always enjoy a great professor who doesn't need his notes to teach and knows his stuff well enough to answer most questions easily. The time I took this class, it mainly covered PBRT. Final independent project took time to do but was fun and challenging. Study hard for tests and buy the book.

Study everything that he goes over in class and the sections covered in the book and you can get an A with a lot of work.

The first computer science class where I learned anything! I personally like his teaching style, he makes the class challenging but you will learn a whole lot. Programs aren't too bad, but pretty long. I would take more classes with him, and yes, you will get the grade you deserve!

Nice guy; is knowledgeable. Will curve if everyone does bad. Made tests easier after hard first exam. Assignments are somewhat challenging. Tries hard to explain difficult concepts, but not always clear. Notes could be better / hard to understand sometimes. Looks like Steve Harvey.

Awesome CSIII professor. Willing to stay way past his office hours to help you. He even responds to e-mail all weekend long! It's a tough class, so anyone that complains about him is either a little slow, or just didn't put in enough time :).

Great professor, puts a lot of effort into to the class, and is very willing to help outside of class. He is a tough tester, but understand that the material in COP3530 is not easy regardless! (If you really learn it). You will get the grade you deserve.

This professor tries hard, but has no idea how to present the information to students in a way they can understand. He will take the simplest algorithm and translate it into a complex summation of i,j and k which completely obfuscates the whole thing.
