Comment:
His lectures are long and fairly boring. Sometimes the material can be interesting. I recommend taking notes because his powerpoints are very general. 3 of the 5 tests are online therefore are VERY easy. The midterm was in class and fairly simple. I don't struggle to keep an A. Put forth effort and you're fine. He does not take attendance.

I struggled to follow his lectures on a regular basis. His tests were super specific and therefore tough. The information was interesting enough though. He also offered up to 150 points of extra credit (which saved my grade). Liked the class but wouldn't take another class with him.

Dr. Trost is terrific. Leans liberal theologically, but that shouldn't be an issue for a serious student no matter his or her religious predilections. I would definitely take another class with him.
