I absolutely loved her! She kept me interested. It's best to take her in person. Some people did not like the class bc she the exams are hard, but if u understand history & take her tips for the class, you will pass. She does provide extra credit. I love her passion for history.

I took her online and had to drop it, because she did not teach she just said read the chapters..i did read the chapters and took notes and still failed the tests. She was very unhelpful. do not take her.

Comment:

Took online course but to take tests I had to go to campus. Pretest & post test for each chapter counted as extra credt. 16 chapters x2=32. I did it all and ALL you get is 4 miserable extra credit points. 2 book tests and 3 tests. I will say she did work with me with my tight schedule. You must remember dates, treaties. very specific info on tests.

Her class is tough but she is very interesting and makes History actually fun. First test mainly from book. Next 2 tests mainly from notes. I didnt even read the book for the last test and got a B on it. Tough but worth it.

Absolute WORST Teacher Ive ever worked with. I sent her 4 emails over the last week of the summer semester & she did not return one. Horrible! She set up the syllabus with a deadline of one day & then because it was a holiday we were suppose to know (because we keep up with all the campus hours) that we had to take it 3 days earlier! Horrible!!

I took the course online...big mistake. I forgot to even read professor reviews. I'm in highschool still and was only taking some classes to get a head start. This class was miserable. Maybe it would have been easier to actually be in a class instead of online? I haven't passed one test and could not finish either book. I wouldn't reccomend her.

I took her for Summer I online and there is too much reading for someone who also works full time. If History II is anything like this class, I will not take it during the summer. Her tests are HARD, she doesn't show you the questions you got wrong, and I'm not quite sure she's a fair grader. If history is not your major, take someone else!

She is the WORST teacher that I have ever had. I was pretty optimistic in this class until I took the first test. I took her ADVICE and read the book and used the MHL to help me but it didn't work. I failed all 3 tests thanks to her advice. The tests are very hard. You have to pretty much love history to take this teacher. I wouldn't recommend her

She is not a good teacher.Her lectures are entertaining but that it is not going to be on the test and the note cards she said to do i did them and they are a waist of my time so they r also useless.If you miss one test or book exam you are screwed.i attended class and did everything she said to do and all i got was a "D"

She is a wonderful, caring teacher who is very passionate about her line of work. SHE LOVES HISTORY! Her test are hard, and the books she chooses to read are very boring. If you study, you'll do fine. She gives great lectures. Plus, I loved hearing "as a thinking class" but her laugh could kill me. Overall, if I had a chance, I'd take her again.

She wrote the book..so she knows her stuff. Her lectures are like stories, very interesting! She dislikes tardiness. But she's very sweet, helful and responds to your emails. Takes time after class to answer your questions. But she's a HARD GRADER...if you can handle her, go for it!

She is very passinate towards history. Great lectures and many opportunites for extra credit. She only gives 3 test (very hard) and 2 book tests. Get ready to do lots of reading. You have to be in class everyday or you will fall way behind and its hard to catch up. But a very nice lady. She keeps you interested. You will like history after her clas

Lectures were kind of interesting, though she is politicaly biased. The tests were BAD. I studied really hard, read the books, took great notes, made flash cards, and I barely made a C; with only 3 tests and 2 10 point novel tests, one screw up will kill your average. Most of the class dropped, I who am an A student could only manage a C.

Great teacher. It feels like church because she's so passionate. She warns you of tests (they are ALL multiple choice and matching). Book tests are a pain, but just read (Sparknotes). Take good notes. She's a little opinionated, and if I hear "as a thinking class" another time, I think I could've screamed. She ain't too bad on the eyes, either.

Her lectures are great. You think that you will do great in her class but when you get your test scores back you'll be disappointed. Be prepared to read 3 history novels and the text book for the class. My class was full and at the end 60% of the students had droped and the ones who stayed probably got C's.
