Professor Smith was the BEST! she made this 5 week summer course actually enjoyable and if we didn't understand something, she knew 2 other ways to explain it to help all of the different learners in class. I never post reviews but after her class, I felt compelled to share how amazing she truly is. She cares about her students and their success.

I was terrified to take Dr. Smiths class based off these reviews. The 1st time I took Chem, I got a D+.. After Dr. Smiths Orgo/Biochem class, I left with a B. She works with you, & really, you get out what you put in. All of her quizzes were E.C & she makes lectures relatable. She's so nice & cares about her students. TAKE HER. you wont regret it.

Dr. Smith is a great professor. Took her course in the summer. Very heavy workload as is expected for the summer, but she is more than accommodating and willing to help. She has a great way of making the subject matter more relatable and easy to understand. If you put in the work and effort, you will get an A.

5 weeks of misery. She is rude, angry, dismissive, makes constant mistakes, loses students' work, and treats questions with disdain and annoyance. She reads off of power point slides and can't explain the work in alternative ways. Her classroom is tense and uncomfortable. Appalling that this is the head of the Chemistry department.

I was very concerned about getting a good grade in this class. The material was very tough for me to learn. Dr. Smith was as helpful and caring as I could ever hope a teacher to be. If you care, and try she will make the time for you. Don't care or put in the effort required do not expect a good grade. I worked 4 plus hours a week and got an A.

Took this class online, very confusing. Labs materials had nothing to do with the labs themselves. Takes forever to answer emails. Notes were very confusing. I would not take this class.

This class is hard but Professor Smith makes it harder. Her style of teaching is not really teaching but just reading through her powerpoints. She's not very helpful. If you want to pass with a decent grade please seek another professor.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER! She does not know how to teach a summer class. She expected way to much of a 5wk course. She got angry when questions were asked. Rolled her eyes. Put things on the test we never learned. The first test, everyone, and i mean everyone, got a 50 or less. I dropped along with half of the class. Horrible.

I took Professor Smith this semester and it was awesome. Her passion for Chem is truly inspiring. I also like when she uses examples of her family lectures, especially her children. Overall I really enjoyed the class, I learned a lot. She was very fair with all her grading as well as her tests. I would certainly recommend that you take her!! :)

She is easy. Takes all the test questions from her slides or from the practice problems or practice test she puts on line. If you use her material you will get an easy A

Professor Smith, is a good teacher and encouraged a student to stay in the class rather than withdraw. I'm very happy, I did. I never had chemistry and because I improved and brought my grades up. I passed the class because I stayed focus in her class. You will learn from this Professor.

Material is rushed into a 2 1/2 hour lecture once a week. Skips over text book based PowerPoint slides, with mathematical mistakes. Puts surprise questions on the test that were not taught. Gets frustrated during labs. Doesn't teach stuff on final. Takes a week to answer email. Poor communication, I got an A but I had to study hard.

Whenever I would ask a question, she looked at me like I was the stupidest kid she has ever seen. She was very snippy with the entire class. Her practice tests had nothing to do with the actual test. Good luck if you take this class!

Not an easy class but Dr. Smith gave great examples and was very clear in explaining things. She moves fast so you have to pay attention & study every night. Office hrs almost every day and remediation classes. If she sees you're trying she will give you the benefit of the doubt. Gives quizzes that don't count except as exam xtra credit. Recommend!

She is a hard teacher, but she wants you to learn. If you show her you are trying hard and care, she will go out of her way to make sure you understand. I would not have passed this class had she not been my teacher!

Professor Smith teaches at a good pace. I recommend you read the book because she refers to it often. This professor does not assign homework, however she will review problems in class. She also likes to humor during class, making the class more fun.

Online course, she let us work at our own pace which is beneficial for me. Also this is a self-learning course, also beneficial for me. This is since I work full-time with a demanding career and go to college full-time at night 12credits each semester. This is the type of course I like......
