Comment:

This class was so much fun! Some of the assignments were a bit intimidating, but I learned more from them about lesson planning and implementation than my other Educ classes. Everything was relevant and none of it was "busy work." You have to do every assignment and attend to get a good grade, but worth every minute!

Comment:

This professor is really nice, but makes the class very difficult. There are 6 open book tests and a Midterma and a Final. There is not a review for the Midterm and the Final which makes studying for the exams very difficult. He is not very clear on what he wants in his essays either.

Comment:

He makes class fun. He knows what he is talking about. He just grades like a Nazi. I misspelled one word on my paper and he docked it almost 10%. And he doesn't tell you his grading criteria for the papers until after you have written them. It's an easy class but it's not THAT easy.

Comment:

Professor Priest knows so much about music! I felt like most the work in this class was just busy work. There are quite a few small tests and then a midterm and final exam. I would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for an easy general ed, fine arts credit.

Comment:

The class was easy but most of the assignments were busy work and didn't go with the course. The class is supose to teach you how to use music in your classroom. It didn't. The readings were extremely difficult, and were never discussed in class and that is what the tests were on. It's a good easy class but it doesn't prepare you to teach music

Is a wonderfully intelligent professor, and is very passionate about music, you can see it in his eyes when he performs. He helps each of his students become the best they can be, and play the best they can. Not to mention he is rather charming and hot!
