I took Web Analytics for Business with Dr Kanabar, it was the best class ever I had taken. I absolutely loved every minute of the class, we also got to learn a lot of things in class such as MS Azure, Google Analytics, Mail Chimp. I would definitely recommend you guys to take him for this course.

Very Fair and while the class is tough, it is well worth it. One of the best in the MET College. Enjoyed every minute.

Professor Kanabar was an inspirational source for my studies at Boston University (BU). He had a talent to teach digital marketing, give us insights about IT and encourage us to work in this specific E-Commerce / Online Marketing business world. He was always helpful and even after I attended the class we would assist the students. Amazing!

I took a Project Management class and a Web Marketing class with this professor. His classes were very unorganized, materials and important information were scattered in many documents, not everything is in the syllabus. The final exams in both classes were from materials that were not covered in lectures of his final exam reviews. Got A- and B+

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Although Dr. Kanabar sometimes sped through live lectures, the content of the PPT lecture slides was very thorough and he was very responsive.

Comment:
Course was interesting, but not well managed - syllabus kept changing and assignment due dates were not clear. The last four weeks of class were mostly student presentations (for a research paper, then a cool final project). There was a fair amount of material on the take-home exams that was not covered in class or in his book.

Comment:
great class. Facilitator was terrific, lectures usually kept to 1 hour. Reading seems like a lot when you start but it is a lot of user guides and workbooks. You get through it. Discussion questions were upfront, graded fairly and engaging.

The most unorganized professor I have ever had. Avoid his classes at all costs. I paid $3000 and he taught me nothing!

Professor Kanabar is very good with his instruction, but also very supportive and helpful towards students. He really seemed to care, was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He's one of the best professors I've had. Also liked Professor Temkin at BU.

All of AD642, AD643, CS601, scattered software management, and some other things, squeezed into this 6-week course for part-time students. I wish he would take a sabbatical. He no longer seems to have the time or clarity to be the great prof he used to be.

If he offers you a teaching assistantship or a scholarship, please, before you do anything else, get in writing from the dean's office what your award is, and what you have to do in return. He'll say that you'll get paid the rest of it next semester. Or that you won't have to work for your scholarship. What he'll say later will not be the same.

Excellent class! A lot of real practical exercises and reasonable expectations. Loved it. But he needs to hire a QA to proofread his on-line lectures and quizzes. Too many typos.
