Comment:

She is a solid professor. Her accent can be somewhat difficult to understand sometimes, and she can be unforgiving about missed things that were outside your control, but she is fair overall. Her online class after the lockdown started consisted entirely of Khan academy videos and tests.

Dr. Wang is open to communication and willing to make adjustments to meet students' need. She always replies emails in a timely manner. She spends extra hours to meet students outside of the classroom when it is necessary. She is a kind teacher who is always there to help.

If you don't take this professor for Statistics then you are doing something wrong. Her lectures are super easy to follow and all of the assignments are online unlimited attempts. The quizzes and exams are online in class with TWO attempts. I didn't study one time for this class and I got a 97%. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Comment:

Not good at explaining things. She doesn't make any of the tests or class material so she is often confused. Always have to go to her so she can correct your grade. Grading is always confusing and never straightforward. I had to read the textbook to teach myself.

Shes not great at explaining, but she will make adjustments for students and is fair. The material is not very complicated. Tests and quizzes are mostly multiple choice on blackboard.

She is not as bad as all the reviews say. She is at statistics, not the best at teaching, however, if you are a mathematics major it should not be too difficult for you. She writes down all her notes and the material is not hard to understand. She is available in office hours. Her quizzes come from homework and the exams are similar to quizzes.

Worst professor I ever had at Towson. She skimmed over material, explained things in a confusing manner, and was unwilling to compromise despite multiple students failing exams and quizzes. Extra credit isn't offered.

Comment:

Prof. Wang is probably the statistics professor I could've had, especially with tests and quizzes. They're basically all multiple choice, and are taken from the weekly HW assignments and/or past quizzes. Honestly if you just show up to class, take notes during lectures, and do the HW, this class should be a breeze.

The material for this class is extremely easy, you just need to teach yourself instead of expecting anything from Dr. Wang. She doesn't seem to know the material herself, and admitted that she is bad at answering student questions. She gives online quizzes and exams that other professors made and they are all multiple choice so no partial credit.

Overall, the course isn't difficult if you can teach yourself. Dr. Wang doesn't know any of the material, takes quizzes and tests from other teachers and doesn't care to learn the answers to them. All quizzes and tests are multiple choice, so there's no partial credit. Whenever a question is asked she relies on other students to answer.

Prof Wang was extremely unavailable be it in class or outside of class, and would not directly answer your question. She also was very disorganized and was constantly rearranging the schedule making it extremely difficult to know when homework was to be done by, or when tests or quizzes were.

Worst professor ive had at towson period. Would not help me at all and was rude about it. Even though I read the reviews and knew she wouldnt be all that great it fit my schedule well so i figured id take it and try really hard, that was a HUGE mustake. Ive never had such a negative class expierience.

Professor Wang is one of the worst professors I've had at TU. Her homeworks are really long and never returned on time, she skims over things she doesn't feel like explaining and she's terribly impatient when you ask for help. For some perspective, know that about half of the students in class were retaking this course after taking it with her.

If you show up to class and do the HW, you will succeed. Tests and quizzes online. Quizzes are tough, but tests aren't too bad. If you are dedicated to your studies, you will do fine.

Statistics is not an easy subject this class was a hybrid and met once a week. We had to do all test and quizzes in class. Homework and Minitab was done outside of class. She was the most uncaring, unhelpful, and rude professor you could ever have. She has no enthusiasm in class and when you ask her for help she goes off subject. Terrible!

If you understand how to do the homework without looking up the answers you can passed this class easily. Everything is online so it makes it easier to review your answers and it even shows you how to work it out after submitted deadline. Also really do look over the homework you might see a correlation with that in all the assignments

If you arent an overachiever, dnt take her. The only reason Im passing is bc I teach myself everything from the book. If she didnt give in-class assignments for credit, I honestly wouldnt have gone to class. She isnt helpful and I dnt think she really cares. I wish I had another professor for this class bc it shouldnt have been hard, its easy stuff

Expects you to be a math whiz If you need this class,avoid her as much as possible. She only understands the material but cant teach others how to understand it. Throws hw at you like you can work like a math robot. Every time i asked her a question, she'd get fed up and annoyed. Why even bother asking her questions. Tutors helped a bit, not a lot

Smart professor, horrible teaching. Gives out so much work w so little knowledge of the material she provides. Assignments are due almost every other day. Yes this is college, it wont be easy, but we'd like to pass with the HELP of professors (she hardly helps with having you understand the material) and guidance(what guidance? -__-)
