He didn't know that the lab was separate from the lecture. He basically said in lecture that his job was to make us squirm. Only Bio professor I have had who said we have to know EVERYTHING for the exam. He was degrading to students in office hours. Literally half the class of a full lecture hall dropped by the end of the semester. Beware!

Great,very intelligent,and well spoken.He expects a lot at times,but he is willing to help you as much as needed. The thing that makes him so great at his job is his charisma,charm,and sense of humor. He is NOT boring.The field trip to Catalina was fun,but the water was freezing!Learn to read,analyze,and answer Q's about graphs,basis for all tests.

He is hard. Very very hard and time consuming. U'll learn a lot in this class. Just make sure that u're not taking many other classes, or u'll end up with a "C" grade like me.

The guy is smart and highly motivated, and he demands the same from his students. The 8:00am start time was brutal, but he made it as enjoyable as possible. However, even though he's a nice guy he will not cut you any slack. This class was rigorous and difficult. Be prepared to memorize a ton of stuff.

Honors Marine Bio. Ecellent professor, does frequent field work, extra credit opportunities and field trips are interesting and educational... Pay attention in class and make sure that no one steals your final project idea, 'cause it's pretty embarrassing if they have better graphics than you do, even if your research kicks their ass.

really cool teacher. he's so enthusiastic about the stuff he teaches. his tests are pretty easy. if you go to class every day & take notes, you barely have to read off the book. only based on 3 tests, though, so you have to do well on them.

He did his lectures on powerpoint. He really likes what he's doing. He goes really fast by the end of the lecture. Make sure to read the book and do the quizzes in the back of the book. There is a lot of information to remember so be prepared.

Excelent professor. Very knowlegable, great lecturing style. Keeps things interesting while not overloading with information. Anyone interested in marine should take this class. Watch out for his tomfoolery though. He preys upon the gullible.
