Her class is difficult and challenging, but she is also very helpful and available to students. You'll have to work for it if you want an A, but you will get valuable advice for writing persuasive essays in this class. Great professor who really evokes interest in the subject. She is easy going and very flexible and is like a real person...not stuck up or snooty. I love her to death and would definitely go have beer and good coversation. Highly recommend any class she teaches!

Dr. Fisanick is really not all that bad. She can be really funny at times and will gladly help you with any problems you may have. The homework was somewhat tedious and classes could be boring, but overall, this class really helped me improve on my writing.

Ugh, don't take her class. Even if she's the only one left with spots available. Trust me, there's a reason for that. You have to read very boring papers and then write essays on them. The work she gives you takes up so much time that you don't have much time for other classes.

Anything you write will take a box of red pens for her to grade.ask anyone in the class.i believe she feels bad for everyones poor writing,so she'll pass everyone no matter what they turn in as long as it shows effort.end of year research paper-was graded within a day makes me wonder if she even read those 10-12 pages.u talk about literacy all year

I've never done so much busy work in my life. For the first 3/4 of a semester, she blabbers about nothing in particular, and why she's a genius because she has a Ph.D. The last 1/4 of the semester you get to some actual writing instruction but it's not that great and there's not enough time for it. Waste of time.

Lots of reading that will drive you crazy. Out of class early all the time. Useless papers ... lots of them. Nothing I learned is really worth anything. If you're willing to read and BS some essays, this class will be an easy A. Waste of tuition if you're looking to learn.
