She is the best professor i have ever had. I loved her class and she genuinely cares about her students. You do have to write papers but she helps you and wants you to succeed. She is the sweetest person. I wish she could teach all of my classes.

Nicest professor at WIU. She cares about every student she teaches and will learn your name within a week. 3 big papers, a final portfolio and 10 weekly journals. Its a writing class so get ready to write. But the good part is you get to write about what YOU want to write about.

Comment:

Best professor in campus. Took her for one semester and made class enjoyable and helped with what ever you need. Cares a lot of her students and is very understandable. She focuses on the material but also gives real world examples. The assignments are very easy and forward, she likes it when students participate but she will not force you to.

The most down-to-earth professors I ever had at WIU. She genuinely cares about her students. She allows extension if you ask. Her lectures go far beyond the classroom; you'll actually learn life lessons without you actually knowing. YOU MUST TAKE CHRISTY!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. She genuinely cares about her students. Always there when you need her and offers extensions on papers if you need them. Almost always lets class out early and gives you several days off from class throughout the semester. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Love her! She really cares deeply about her students and what is going on in their lives. She understands the crazy world of a college student, so she does everything she can to accommodate. She gives extensions if you need them. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS. She gives great feedback. She wants you to do well in her class and in collegelife in general.

I had Christy for ENG 280, and wish I would've taken 180 with her too. Obviously, the course is writing intensive, but she is kind and funny, and will get you to love the class. My group was horrible, and never did the peer reviews, but that only reflected poorly on them and didn't affect me, which was a pleasant surprise. Take her.

This is the best teacher I've had! She legitimately cares about how you do and your success not only in class but in life. She truly has been inspiring and this is a first time I've seen a teacher really care! If you have a chance to take this teacher, take her! She is one of if not the best English teachers on campus! I've honestly never done this well in an English class. It's really due to her teaching, inspiration, and help! Plus she's always absolutely the nicest in classes! Take her!!

She is hands down the BEST teacher here at WIU. She truly cares about her students and will go above and beyond for them. Dont abuse her kindness 'cause she will get tired of it. Christy is a awesome teacher! She is really down to earth and keeps the class fun. The papers are quite easy. Journal every wk (easy 2 pts)..extra credit if you ont miss any days. You MUST have the books for her class because she uses them and they actually help when writing your papers. Easy A if you come to class. Conference help alot too!
