Comment:

Mrs. Reid is amazing! She was very organized. She was late to class sometimes, but rarely (5-10 minutes)& never penalized any students for being late. She would work with students to help them get good grades on assignments and gave a lot of extra credit opportunities. The best prof. by far. I still keep in contact with her for help.

Professor Reid is a great professor. I got A's on all my essays. We read one book throughout the whole semester as a basis for the class. She's very organized and makes the class fun. She's a great professor overall.

This professor does not know what she's doing! She doesn't know what date she sets for the syllabus and she'll skip class for a sale! She's very unclear about papers and you have to keep up with her daybook which stacks up fast and signigicantly brings your grade down. I did not learn anything, do not take her!

She based her class on a novel. This is not an "English" class whatsoever. You either read and pass and learn nothing, or don't take the class. Honestly, she was not a good teacher. Any teacher who takes a vacation to China and skips a week of class is not worth sitting through her class.

I loved Proffessor Reid. I had her last semester for ENG 101 and she was extremely helpful. It was a pretty easy class. The final was based off of the book we read throughout the semester. SHe grades a little tough, but it honestly helps you oun the end. Overall it is an easy class. I am going to take her 102 class next spring

I loved this class. She is very helpful and sweet. Her class is fairly easy. She has you write 1 pg summaries on 4 short stories and a research paper. No quizzes, no midterm, no final. She doesn't require an expensive textbook. She uses one from Barnes & Noble :) I will definately be taking her for Eng 232. Take her you won't regret it!!!

It's sad that she'll take a break from teaching for two semesters. I'd love to take her for 232. She's awesome, I really enjoyed her class. I was absent a lot so that took a chunk out of my grade :( I can tell she's passionate about literature. She actually helped her students write better with her outlines, even though that's 102's job LOL

Ms. Reid is a confident, intelligent, cultured, classy, fun, amazing woman! She is seriously one of my role models! :) I loved her class, and I loved the discussions. For 232 we read Candide, Pride&Prejudice, Lolita, Strange Pilgrims, and Things Fall Apart. All amazing reads and all great assignments and discussions :) Will miss this class!!!

Cindy Reid is a sweetheart and down-to-earth woman. I am so glad that I enrolled in her class as I have come to admire her as a instructor. It's evident that she cares about her students and wants you to succeed. Attendance is necessary. If you make an effort and do ALL of the assignments, you should be fine. :)

16 weeks in class: This is the first time that she is teaching the subject so she is a little unsure of what exactly to do. We had two papers and a fair amount of reading mainly on religion. We had either group discussion or quizzes to ensure reading. Lot of small group in class presentation. A lot of opportunity for extra credit.

She is a wonderful teacher i took her for both Eng 102 and Eng 223.. She grades hard but you can manage to get an A if you do the work.. lots of reading for 223 but their fun books to read and she discusses the books in detail with the class. It's an easy class the work is minimul. and she also grades in class participation..
