Dr. Ihm is a wonderful teacher who has tons of knowledge about choral music and education. She is very fair when it comes to grades, but if you don't do well, it's your own fault. Many of these other comments are over a decade old, and she is nothing likewhat they say. She knows how to take charge and knows what she wants.

Ihm's is well.....kinda stuck on herself....beyond that, the class is a bit challenging which is a nice change.....i believe she is fair, although i have to agree that not everyone has the voice to sing.....i suppose that your major should weigh a little upon your sightsinging test....i am a percussion major and although i can sing alright, i know others that can do well at the instrumental part of music, but just don't have a great voice (they get counted off for that!).....I'm out!

i really don't enjoy ear training class. it's very difficult and she moves rather fast so sometimes it's hard to comprehend what's going on. also i sing pretty bad when i have to sing infront of my peers b/c it freaks me out.

The person that wrote the review on Dr. Ihm before me on Oct. 31, 2003 is totally stupid. You're right... this is choir. COLLEGE CHOIR! It's her job to correct us and make us sound better even if that hurts your delicate little feelings.

THIS IS CHOIR!!! I am a major and want to sound good but come on. She has a problem with being very negative and talking down to you. I think if she could be much more positive in her criticism of people it would help everyone.
