I took two of his classes and he was awesome. His business law class had a lot of work to do but he was a fair grader. You will work in his class but if you work and do most of the assignments you will pass the class. He always answer back emails quickly which is big when you an online student.

This class is difficult. The teacher is vague in his expectations sometimes with his project expectations. He expects a high level of understanding and work; but, he doesn't always help achieve that. He is a great person and tries to work with you. I found it a little stressful.

Take his online class! It's the easiest class I've taken since I started college. I just looked up all the answers for the quizzes and tests. Plus it's graded right away. I don't think he even read my writing assignments because I got full credit on all of them even when some were late. Achieved an A in 4 weeks. Not complaining at all!

Seems to be helpful and organized. TOO organized! You spend more time learning formats than doing assignments. Takes away from learning the subject. Also likes tricky worded questions. Dropped immediately, as I do with all professors who want to nitpick every little detail and like to pull a fast one with test questions.

I loved this class; the assignments are clear and available from the beginning. Gaines is available for help anytime and will go the extra mile for his students. There is a lot of material covered in a short time, but is a great learning experience.

This was the third time that I had Gaines as a teacher. I have taken classes taught by Gaines online. Gaines is great with responding to emails. You will do great if you stay ahead. You will need the book, and you will need to read the chapters. I have had only success with taking his classes.

I took him for Health Care Management (online), my first class within my major. Mr. Gaines went out of his way to help me! The course was very organized and detailed. I dont recall having to ask him any questions about any of the assignments. Its a great course, I learned a lot! Down side , I had to wait 1 week for grades. Still got an "A+".

I found his class pretty engaging my only complaint was that some of the information that was on his tests were questions you would only have known if you had read ahead. Others were written in a tricky way so you had to be careful which answer you picked. Other than that I liked his discussion board questions and loved that the class was brisk.

Mr. Gaines, was very helpful to me this was my first online class I had ever taken, I was lost and confused. He made it seem like everything was going to be fine he put my mind at ease. He also made himself available to all his students so he could help them at anytime. He is a wonderful teacher.

Awesome teacher, will bend over backwards to make sure you succeed in any of his classes. He's usually always available to his students. If you take the online classes read the book really well. Tends to give out extra credit towards the end of the course, and he is really good with deadlines. All his courses were great, you'll learn a lot.
