I took Mullins's IDIS class online during my study abroad semester, and I really enjoyed having him as my professor. It was a lot of reading/papers, but he worked with me while abroad, and I really appreciated that. I definitely recommend his class.

We had more classes cancelled than we did class. When we had class, it would only be held for about 30 minutes. Also took a long time to grade assignments. Guidelines for projects were not clear. I would never take again

He has cancelled class more times then we have been to class this semester. he claims to be sick every time it is time for class. which is great but we are paying for this and Ive learned nothing. he doesn't grade anything on time- takes months to get things back. He also wont give feedback or send us the rubric for our group project

Dr. Mullins is a great teacher, If your passionate about communication in all areas he is the professor to take. Yes he rambles but his work is useful. Every unit project will challenge you but its only bettering your knowledge of what is being taught. Very easy to talk to, just don't cross him or he have some professional words for you.

This teacher was one of the worse teachers I have had. He relied on group projects for everything and coming from someone who HATES group projects it was the worst. He also grades pretty tough. I do not recommend taking him.

His lectures are so boring and you legit do nothing. I sat there and never took notes once and he just babbles on and on but I went to class for the extra credit. No one really took this class seriously But I still got a B. Its a lot of group work but easy, the final project which is like 70% of your grade is group work.

Comment:
His class is pointless you learn nothing from the actual lectures. You get extra credit for attending. His directions make no sense he grades assignment incredibly slow. At the end of the semester it's obvious that he makes up random grades which is frustrating when you know you should've gotten a better grade. I wouldn't take him again

I took him last semester for CMAT100 and barely got a B thanks to the massive amount of online work we had to do outside of class. I signed up for a different teacher but he was magically placed for it instead. Class is pointless. Everything graded is online. I'm considering dropping it, honestly. Its too much pointless work.

I already rated him but I'm doing it again because that's how much i hated this class. He gives tedious work and pointless projects. It seems like his only goal is to take up every moment of your life with his work. I can only imagine how his full semester classes are.

Literally the most work I've ever had to do for an A. online class B. for a 100 level class and C. for a summer class. Even though it's online he still wants us to do a group project with people we don't even see everyday and who aren't even on campus. DO NOT TAKE AT ALL. If i didnt switch majors and have to take this to catch up i wouldnt have

Most ridiculous class Ive ever taken. Attendance isnt mandatory but you get bonus points for it. Never responds to ANY emails. 15 page research paper in a 101 class! He spent 50% of the semester not there! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Not bad at lecturing out the information but overall very unorganized. He relies way too much on technology and makes online exams with trick questions. He is not very good at answering emails and grades assignments hard, won't return them for feedback and gives them back late so it is too late to fix your grade.

Mullins is overall a good instructor but can sometimes be unorganized. It is a 100 level class and there is a lot of work involved. I feel as if he never gives full credit on assignments even though I got an A in the class.

Dr. Mullins is a really nice and approachable teacher, but he does not understand how to use the online component of his class. I really enjoyed his lectures, but I was very confused when it came to deadlines and guidelines of assignments. Fairly hard grader but he's willing to meet with you if you just schedule an appointment.

Dr. Mullins is a great guy and really means well, but his teaching style is out there. He seems somewhat unorganized and while he's available for help, he relies too much on MyClasses for assignments. Everything is turned in online, but he takes years to get grades back. Knows his stuff but be prepared for a lot of "do-it-yourself" work.

He is literally the worst teacher i have ever encountered in my life. The class is not online but might as well be. All assingments are online and will not tell you when it is due but constantly wants you to check on the website 24/7 to know when STAY AWAY FROM THIS TEACHER. And lastly he takes forever to get grades TERRIBLE TEACHER

He has an extreme addiction to MyClasses. He uses it for almost everything in the class. You need to check the site morning, day, and night to make sure you aren't missing any new assignments. He is very disorganized and difficult to reach outside of class. But he is very lenient on due dates and will postpone something when the class is confused.

Dr. Mullins is generally an easygoing guy. He gives lots of opportunities for extra credit, outlines what he expects of you VERY clearly, and all of his quizzes, exams, and assignments are online. His grading is slow and the lectures aren't that great, but he teaches a very easy class. There's no final in CMAT101; just a group project.

CMAT 101 with Dr.Mullins consists of the most work i have ever had in my 4 semesters at SU so far. Although I got an A, it was not because of him. He is so unorganized that i had to drop his 297 online class. Would not recommend Mullins to anyone.
