Comment:

She is my favorite math teacher ever. I love her organization and note taking style. She let me listen to music during my tests which helped me a lot because I listen to music when I study. I wish she taught every level of math every term. I would definitely recommend her.

Comment:

Took Pre-Algebra in High School, and therefore this class was a breeze. After the first week she doesn't take attendance and she posts all lecture videos online. Sample Tests are just like the real tests and she reviews for them beforehand. Only issue is that homework packets aren't due until the test day, so it is easy to procrastinate.

Comment:

Donna is a very helpful teacher. She gives you her home and office phone numbers and routinely encourages the whole class to call her anytime for help. Her lectures are well prepared and clear. She posts a pdf of the her lecture notes online everyday. Her tests are not particularly difficult, but they make up the vast majority of your grade.

Comment:

The three tests are the bulk of the grade, but the sample exams are very accurate to the real exams. The exams are not long, and even when I had trouble finishing one on time (most people don't) she stayed for a few extra minutes so I could finish. She was very clear and helpful in her explanations. Don't need the book in class, just for homework.

Comment:

She is: really nice, very soft spoken and tough but fair grader. She collects homework twice a term so be be ready to self teach half the time. She works off of a computer program all and every lecture and very rarely looks up so you will need to speak up if you want her to stop. For the right person this is a match made in heaven.

She often reminds you to feel free to call or email her if there are any homework questions. She teaches slowly and is very good at explaining what she's doing. Donna is very nice and helps you whenever she can. The hardest part of the class, I would say, is making sure you do the homework. It's collected each month, so don't procrastinate.

Donna is a wonderful teacher. She explains concepts with the understanding of where students could get confused and reminds us enough times so that we really know the material. She put her notes online and gave quality preparation for exams. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but I went every day because hearing her explain things was well worth it.

Donna is hands down, the best math teacher I've ever had in my whole life. She is so helpful and even gives out her home phone number in case you need to call her for help on the weekends. She gives out reviews and sample tests prior to the tests which eased my test anxiety immensely. I appreciate her so much!

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! Tests are almost exactly like the practice exam that she gives you online to study. I HATE math and struggled badly in all of my other math class.. and in the class I am doing just fine! She posts EVERYTHING (notes, practice exams) on moodle. Just practice the practice test and you will do good in the class! HIGHLY recommend her!

Wonderful teacher! I was terrified to take trigonometry, but she made it easy to understand. Practice tests prepare you very well for the actual tests and the formula sheets are extremely helpful!!! I wish I could take her for every math class.

Clear direction and communication in lectures, answers questions thoroughly, posts all lecture notes online, practice tests are very similar to actual tests, post grades to tests the same day typically. She is clear and concise and doesn't waste a moment's time (not even with the syllabus which I loved). Take her class, you won't regret it!

Comment:

The best teacher I've ever had. She uses an electronic whiteboard, then posts all notes on-line. Provides review sheets along with practice tests. I went from an 88% to a 98% to a 99% on the final. Teaches at a pace where a student can absorb the information, but will always back-up to answer any questions. I would recommend her to anybody.

She really is a sweet heart. Soo nice. Explains things at a very slow pace, to make extra sure you understand. Will gladly answer any questions. Seems to enjoy math. Gives review sheets AND sample exams for the tests. HW is everyday, but it's very few problems. I'd definitely recommend her! especially for those who may have trouble with math.

She is an awesome professor. Math is not my strongest subject but she made it simple. She asks questions and take the time to explain every step. She post her lecture notes online. She gives a great review to the tests and if you study the review the test should be fairly straight forward.
