Professor Madden is easy to listen too. She knows the business environment and can relate it in terms that students understand. Her projects and homework, make you think outside of the box like you would in a business setting. You come out of this class well prepared. If you have difficulty understanding a topic she makes her self available.

Class was very professional, and formal. She is tough, and won't put up with any nonsense when it comes to work ethic and grading, but fair. She tells stories and gives projects that are directly related and very helpful in understanding the business environment. Has good views, and I left this class very prepared for the business world. Take her!

I took this class online this winter semester. The course material was very difficult to understand. She was not willing to help maybe it would be a different story if I took the class at campus. I would not recommend this class/professor to anyone who is looking for an easy "A" .

Had Ms. Madden for 3 classes and received all A's. All work is applicable to real life situations and she really prepares u for the real thing. Extremely clear in her lessons and will go out of her way to help you if u need help. Her projects are fun and effective. A fantastic teacher and I still keep in contact with her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I really enjoyed her Princ. of Management class online. Kind of a lot of work, but it was an 8-week course. Exams were tricky, but answers usually came right out of the book. My recommendation is to keep constant contact with her. She also has great extra credit opportunities that are built into the normal assignments. Overall great professor!

Took it online- I learned a lot but it was a lot of work.Grades were not all based on tests- plenty of opportunities to earn points on other assignments. Very career focused. Take this if you want to get a job after college!

Her online class is worse than awful! Looks like she may be better in person? TONS of busy work, useless feedback that often was not provided in time to improve for next assignment. She immediately deletes posted work so you cant go back and see previous work and her direct emails were rude and unhelpful.6-10 similar assignments a week- busy work!

great teacher. Class was a lot of work, but its good stuff you will actually use in your professional career. Projects were pretty cool, mid-terms and finals weren't to bad . . . all multiple choice :) Overall, she was a very nice and friendly teacher who really cares about her students, but WATCH YOUR GRAMMAR/PUNCTUATION in this class! SERIOUSLY!

This class is hard! The Professor doesn't allow for any mistakes.I felt belittled to say the least. For a Professor to make crude comments about a person's education is out of context. Positive criticism is welcomed, a Professor's sense of entitlement isn't. BEWARE. Don't take this course. If I had to again, I'd jump off a bridge.

I LOVE MRS MADDEN!!!! I learned SO MUCH from her!!!! The two best teachers in this school are Mr Alan Brownlie and MRS MADDEN!!! They care about their students! You will pass this class and as a reminder, eliminate the word "THAT" out of your written assignments! LOL! Love her!

Madden is my favorite teacher of all time! She is fun, knows exactly what she is talking about and has lots of games to keep class interesting. There is never a dull moment in her class. I liked her so much I took both her BPA 142 and BPA 162 classes. She only had us really use the book for homework. She doesn't put up with laziness or texting!

I found her knowledgable on the subject, however, she was very opinionated on certain subjects which could be classified as borderline politically incorrect. She did seem to have quite a few personal stories - some were relevant to the subject matter, some were not. Would I take the class again? Probably not.

Interesting lady. Has a story for everything. Gives ample time to turn in assisgnments. 1 company project, 2 journal essays, 4-5 weekly assinments. Don't let the workload scare you away, it's really not that much. Plenty chances of getting extra credit...If you choose the right team members. I couldn't have built a better BPA professor myself.

She knows anything and everything about the world of business. Very entertaining and is not afraid of giving her opinion. The class is pretty easy as long as you pay attention, take notes, and read the book. She gives A LOT of opportunity for extra credit. I loved this class and I would definitely recommend taking her!
