Very nice lady, but makes A way to hard to get for a Gened. It was the lowest grade of the semester and by far (what should've been) my easiest class. Can get a B with NO effort at all though. 5 tests drops 1. 6 quizzes dropes 1. One project. Don't by the book, just print on notes and copy down what she says. Wouldn't recommend

Awful class at 8 am. She's nice and very helpful but it's just soo boring. GenEd science classes are just awful in general though, and too difficult. As a senior with a 3.7 i was annoyed to get a B in this class. wouldnt recommend if you're not a science major. No attendance, but you're screwed if you miss because all notes on tests come from class

If you pay attention and take notes before your labs you're fine. But take an ENTIRE night to write up your lab reports because she's a strict grader. But...she accused me of plaigarism for having 1 SENTENCE identical to another student. IT WAS OUT OF HER LAB MANUAL, AND I CITED IT! Is she serious?

had her for lab and she's really nice. but man does she nickle and dime on the smallest stuff on lab reports. its crazy how many dumb points you will lose. nice and helpfull though

I slacked off big time in the beginning of the semester. Kept getting low on lab reports. When i decided to pick it up, she helped me greatly. I regret not taking advantage of her office hours. Great professor. If you have any questions just go to her office hours and she will help you.

She's an amazing professor! She really cares about the student. If you need help, all you have to do is make the effort to go to her office hours. Good teacher. She wants you to learn. You don't need the textbook if you take good notes. Powerpoints available for each lecture. 5 tests, all multiple choice. Lowest grade test gets dropped. One group presentation. 5 pop quizzes. Overall, very easy IF YOU GO. If you don't go, at least get the book so you can catch up.

NIce lady. helpful. laid back. easy to understand. i'd recommend. the last lab was a bit harder, and took way longer...so be ready for that. and it relates to lecture, so that's helpful.

Very nice professor. Laid back and is willing to help during lab but if you need an answer after lab good luck because she takes weeks to respond by e-mail and she only had office hours once a week. Lab consists of 5 quizzes at the beginning on the labs, lab reports--very picky grader make sure you put all your units, final exam very basic.

This class is not really that difficult. Prof Minbiole explains the info well and makes PP's with info directly from the book. She has 5 unannounced quizzes and attendance is not mandatory, but you need to go to class to get the notes. Tests are almost 100% from the PP's & were much harder than they needed to be. There is also a group presentation.

She is an extremely nice lady, but she is a part time professor so it is hard to get extra help from her. She does not check her email very often and takes a while to respond. She only has office hours once a week, so if it doesn't work with your schedule, you're out of luck.

She is very nice, teaches verbatim from the book. Posts slides online but you have to go to class to fill them out. Go to class, nake notes, and tests are a breeze. I have gotten all A's. 5 Pop quizzes, but if you go to class they are so simple. Honestly couldn't recommend a better GSCI 101. TAKE HER!!! EASY A!

She simply can't keep my attention to be honest, she isn't that dynamic. It's GSCI and by these ratings I was under the impression that it wasn't going to be torture. Go to class, and study ahead of time... her tests are difficult and she gives a lot of pop quizzes randomly! NOT FUN! but it's gsci, it's bound to suck.

i thought this class was going to be easy. show up for class b/c there are notes everyday and she gives plenty of pop quizzes on articles that she hands out in class. she's extrememly nice, but i never felt really prepared for tests. not too bad of a class, but don't expect and easy A.

This class seems easy, and the material is pretty simple, but the tests were very hard. She is a very nice lady and very helpful, but I still felt unprepared for the tests. She does drop your lowest grade though. She gives lots of pop quizzes so make sure you read the articles. This is class is ok.

I loved her-she was so willing and helpful and reaaaaally wants you to just understand her material, if it takes her entire office hours on you alone. She doesn't take attendance and she drops your lowest test grade- nicest lady I've ever met, very encouraging!

She dumbs the class down a lot. She knows you're there because it's a gened, so she doesn't expect you to be a genius. She leaves plenty of time to copy notes, as she writes them with you. She makes herself available for review sessions if you need it. It can get repetitive at times, but its a reliably easy class and she makes it that way.
