If you do the homework (8), take the tests (5), and turn in the papers (2), you pass the class. Dr. Yacus is wonderful and his feedback on the assignments was helpful. The book is fairly interesting and I enjoyed the class overall.

Comment:
Yacus's class is fairly simple. Dedicate your time to the study guide and jeopardy questions and you'll probably never have to come to class. THE STUDY GUIDE AND THE JEOPARDY QUESTIONS ALONE WILL GET YOU THROUGH THE CLASS. There are 2 papers, but he isn't crazy tough on grading them. You'd have to completely disregard this class to fail it.

TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. He makes you mail in two papers (by the deadline) but gives you more than enough time to complete them. HW assignments are real easy. 5 exams and a final all are easy if you keep up with the work. He's good with responding to email and doesn't grade HW till the end of the semester.

Took his MGMT325 class online. Super easy, do the work and get the grade. He does require a couple of easy papers and you have to MAIL, USPS, them to his home. He does not accept online submissions. Gives good study guides for the exams. Read the text, use the study guide, take the exams, easy A. You will know ahead of time what assignments to do

Dr. Yacus's is great if you listen to what he asks of you. Two easy papers, five tests, a final, and a few homework exercises. Yeah, you have to mail your papers to him but it really isn't a big deal at all. This class is an easy A if you can follow directions.

Overall, a very easy class that consists of five tests, two papers (that you mail to him because BB and email aren't good enough), and a few assignments. While the class is easy (and he isn't too harsh of a grader), Dr. Yacus has a very condescending and outright rude tone in his grading. If you can get past that, then take him.

Five tests, two papers you snail mail him to his house, and various homework assignments from the book. He posts modules with notes and then you supplement with reading the text. The tests are pretty straight forward, basically know all the text terms and you will do well. The papers aren't too bad, longest is 5 pages. Really interesting class.

Lots of notes, like most cbk classes just study a good bit and you will get a good grade in his class. You need the book, study the definitions and main concepts for tests

I took this class online and it was easy. Dr. Yacus provides a good amount of supplemental material for each chapter to help you understand the content and study for exams. Powerpoint's, Chapter notes and Jeopardy to test your understanding. 2 papers, not long, and 6 exams. This course covers a lot of material, if you study its an easy A.

Dr. Yacus is a great professor and lecturer. He brings some real world knowledge into his class which makes the class interesting. The class was easy but fair, as long as you study the study guides there's really no tricks. You get out what you put into the class and I would recommend him for Mgmt 325.

Reads straight from the slides. Guest speakers take FOREVER, information doesn't help with the tests. Tests are very confusing (Choose the best answer, combination of correct answers, very confusing). Paper and presentation. All tests (including final) are worth the same amount of points.

Good instuctor. Final paper takes lot of time for a good grade, do a little each week and you will get a good grade. Tests are not hard at all if you study. Like any class, the grade you earn eguals what you put in to it.He wants everyone to come out of class with more knowledge. He also wants to learn from the students. Now thats WIN---WIN.

Another ODU hustle on the students. Have a professor regurgitate information from slides every week to you in class and pay $800 for it. His tests are pretty confusing and its hard to figure out what to study. The study guide he gives you is useless, and your best bet is reading the text. Cumulative final. Curves grade because everyone fails exams

study the slides, and the "review" but mostly the slides. i took the class via teletech and showed up only for presentations and exams...you can watch his class on the archives video at home. his exams can be tricky, a,b,c,all, a+b or none is what they pretty much look like, when i saw that my reaction was WTF?

Yes, the class was extremely boring! But whoever said he makes rude comments must be on something. Dr. Yacus tries to make the topic interesting, and in fact he gets us to laugh here and there. Still, the subject material is dry and even his jokes don't justify being there for 3 hours. He does have great study guides, so study those before exams!

Boring class ever. His "knowledge" of Labor MGMT comes from reading off slides. 4 Exams, Final, 1 pg Journal and 5 page paper. Don't take because you will learn nothing.

I feel like the previous reviews are for another teacher because Yacus was very boring and he is not very clear on what will be on the exams. A good majority of the students didn't do well on the 1st exam. He will bring in guest and leave exams for the end of class. Do not take this class via teletechnect. Too many things cramed on one exam.

Nothing has changed since the last reviews. His tests do not come from the book. He still does make rude comments to and about his students. He thinks most of us are lazy. Have received straight A's in my education and getting a b-orc in his class, that speaks volmes about his style. only take if you have to. I think he hates his job.
