Does not go over anything that is going to be on the test. Waste time in class talking about other things and not teaching. He then expects the students to read what he did not have time to teach. He will not tell you what is going to be on the exam so you have to read every chapter and anything can be fair game.

Great man! I love every minute of his class. Willing to help you any time. His tests are filling the blank but they are not that hard as long as you take notes and attend his lectures. Very entuthiastic about teaching. We need more professors like Dr. Kalmus

Dr. Kalmus is not as bad as everyone thinks. Yes his tests are fill in the blank but if you come to class, take his notes, and study, youll do fine considering that he tests directly from his notes which are very clear. He is willing to help you out if you need it and is extremely smart and interesting. Take his class if you want to learn.

don't go to this guy to compose your recommendation letter for medschool. This is supposed to be his job but don't let it be. go to individual profs unless he seems to like you. I got my own letters and got in first try. some people I know got screwed
