Very easy class. If you do the review's and study them you'll get A's on the test.

Very boring professor, but his reviews are pretty useful. Just study the reviews for his test and you should be fine. No homework was assigned throughout the semester. Although, I am not good at economics so take my review with a grain of salt. He does not post grades though, so get ready to calculate your average the old fashioned way.

Very nice man. However, he lectures are useless. Takes attendance every class. Reviews are identical to test. As long as your study review and read the textbook to cover more of the material, you'll be fine.

Lectures and notes dont help with prepping for test. He mumbles alot and goes off topic from time to time. I would not recommend this course if your looking for quality education on economics.

Professor Samuels is the most uninteresting professor I have ever taken. He mumbles all the time and when asked a question, he'll answer a completely different question. I had to study hard for this course. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you don't show up you won't know any of the material for the test. GOOD LUCK!

He is an awful professor. He does not talk about the actual subject that he is supposed to be teaching, but only talks about politics and goes off on random tangents. Please avoid taking him if you can.

When I saw I had to take Economics in college I was TERRIFIED. However, Professor Samuels made it a fantastic course and really helped me understand A LOT about economics. The first day of class I learned more about trade than I had my whole life! I would recommend! Reviews are like the test!

I feel like this class could have been easier if I had taken it with a different professor. Dr. Samuels was a nice man, but he taught us like we all knew how to do calculus. He doesn't explain what he writes on the board clear enough, and the only grade you get are from his ridiculous exams. I tried my best, and I did not care for his class at all.

I would not take his class again. His lectures and his test are two different things. Just no. I took it as a freshmen and regret it so much. Try taking it your Junior year. All you do is read and read. He tend to go off topic while giving lectures.

Lectures are long and its easy to zone out. Ask for a study guide before the exams and he'll most likely give you one. But other than that he walks in,lectures, and dismisses. You wont get anything out of him such as help or easy to follow lessons.

Cool professor that makes economics easy to understand. There are 3 tests but he gives reviews that are pretty much identical to the tests and counts your highest test grade twice. Buying a text book is a waste of money

Great professor and definitely a master of his field. He laces his lectures with cool stories and interesting facts. Only three tests so stay on the ball. Go to class and pay attention, they really aren't that difficult. Mostly conceptual stuff. I'd recommend him if you need this class. I didn't buy the book. Lectures give you what you need.

He is a nice guy, but not helpful. His lectures are long, and very boring. Half of the time you will not know what he is saying. The book cost a lot and is not needed unless you are trying to complete the review. He gives out reviews they are very helpful if you do it. You sign role sheet but I do not think its mandatory, one was ever in class.

Average professor, but he mumbles and things in the lecture aren't on the test. Arrogant, too. But, there's no other instructor for this course, so you're stuck.

He is a nice person, but he told us that he wasn't going to hardly check his email and he doesn't post grades online. He expects you to calculate everything yourself. He takes attendance but he doesn't really care. His lectures are boring and long and it's really hard to take notes.

BORING. likes to use real life examples but they're usually about cars or something related. one cannot pass his class with only his lectures. need to read the book. prompt to grade tests. 3 tests including final, counts the highest score twice.
