Kind wonderful lady. Will help any way she can. Extremely knowledgeable - she could be at any University in the country. You will have to work for the grade, but it's not her fault, heads up to newbies - you'll have to memorize a lot of artwork, dates, time periods for ALL Art History classes, it's not easy.

She is highly intelligent,an expert on the material, and one of the university's finest professors. She cares about students and very willing to help. You do have to work to make the grade but only because there is so much material to cover. Dr. Brown is truly one of the finest people I have meet.

(Art History) Highly knowledgeable and very nice lady. Understanding and willing to help. The class is very hard , not because of the material or instructor, but because there is an extreme amount of material to cover in one semester. Plan on working your but off and putting in a lot of hours, otherwise no way will not pass this class.

I took this class online. I thought it would be fairly easy and straight forward. I was wrong! Take notes from book & lectures & be prepared to work your butt off!! I am an A student and I received a low B. Good luck!

She is horrible!!! I took her online and if you sent her a message about a question that you may have had, then she wouldn't answer the question she would just reword your question. She is EXTREMELY rude!! I would never recommend her to anyone!!!

This is a great class and a fantastic professor! Dr. Brown really cares about the subject and it comes through in her teaching. Word of warning this is not an easy class...you have to work for your grade. It is a good introduction class. Well worth taking!

I found mrs. Brown to be rather rude and everytime I asked a question she seemed put out. She is very unhelpful and I would not recommend her for the simple fact that she has no respect for students. The class is easy but so is every other Visual Arts class so why take Brown when you can take a teacher who actually cares about students?

She is a great professor. Her humor is a little dry but she knows her stuff. Take good notes in class and review the book for the essay questions on the test. There are tons of slides but that comes with Art history. Study the info she goes over in class and ask question and you will do fine.

Take this professor! It's not an easy A class, but definitely an easy B if you come to class and pay attention. She knows what she's teaching and she teaches it well. Very strict on her attendance policy (more than 3 absences = 5% off your grade for each day). If you can make it to class, though, definitely sign up for this incredible lady!
