She's very organized and clear. She will answer questions and make sure you get it. She gives 5 points extra credit on each test. The tests are easy. Expect homework from MyMathLab that is very tedious but easy work. The homework helps prepare you for tests. The course is like high school algebra. I got a 103 in the class. Very easy.

Ms. Gumbiner was an amazing college algebra teacher. Its critical that you pay attention and make sure that you understand whats going on, as in any class. Only one test per chapter and there are like 5 chapters only thing is that tests are like 85% of your final grade. Very helpful teacher and definitely wants to see you pass

I really liked Mrs. Gumbiner and I like MyMathLabs because it walks you through problems step by step. If you do the homework and take the quizzes ( you get 3 tries on each one)and do the review tests you can pass the class.

Professor Gumbiner is an Awsome Professor. You will NOT sleep through this class, as she is very energized and Passionate about what she does. I loved Her Class. Dont expect an A just for showing up. Do The Homework Come to Class and for goodness sakes.. Be respectful to Those Learning and Teaching..She's The Best Math Instructor on this Campus!!!

I love Professor Gumbiner! I'm not that good in math, but this class is so understandable! If you're having trouble on a concept, she'll take time to explain it to you, and even stay after class to help you. She truly wants to see her students succeed. I wish all math teachers could be like her! I actually want to come to this class.

Mrs. Gumbiner is a good professor, she cares about her students. The one thing I will say is I was not a big fan of her teaching style, you follow powerpoints and have to print out the notes outside of class. Also MyMathLab sucks. However, I got an A in her class because I went to class, asked questions,and paid attention. Good professor.

The best math teacher ever. This is coming from someone who is downright terrible at math, and I am doing great in her class. She takes the time to make you understand something, and if you cant she will find another way for you to do so. I only wish I had her earlier in life, then maybe today I wouldnt be so bad at math. Highly recommended.

At first I didn't like her class she went too fast and I had to print out the notes online EVERY day for class so I could add my own way of remembering things. She is a good teacher though and lets you know what to expect on the tests. If you do the HW and practice tests online u will do fine. She even has practice test for the final i aced it(103)

SIMPLY THE BEST MATH TEACHER IS HAVE EVER HAD! Mrs. Gumbiner truly cares about her student and making sure that they actually learn and understand course material. She had instilled a confidence in myself about math that I have never had before. She is willing to give you extra assistance if needed. Do not pass the chance to be in this class!
