Dr. Melton is always late for class, which isn't usually a bad thing because it gives you extra time to study for quizzes :) As long as you read the stories and write down what he talks about in class, you will be fine. He basically tells you exactly what's going to be on the tests.

I think this guy was new when I had him in like 1996. He was too hung up on making stupid jokes and always seemed to be flirting with the females. He would give oppinion questions about the lit we read, but was only intrested in his own. I could never please him with what I wrote (not his oppinion), and he bashed my papers for that reason.

I love Dr. Melton; he's the man. I think he tolerates other people's opinions well, because he would listen to everybody in our class, and we had some IDIOTS. He is encouraging and helpful and has a good sense of humor. Anyone could like his class.

Dr. Melton was great, I loved the class. Very open to discussions and debates. The class was fine if you are willing to do the essays. There's no reason to not get an A, he lets you revise all semester.
