Comment:

Dr. McCullough is possibly the best instructor on USI's faculty. She knows the material inside and out, has plenty of field experience to supplement the course material. The project in this class can be cranked out in a day if you work for it. The tests are not difficult, but the hp's grading scale is. Study hard, go to her for help, A/B guarantee.

I am super fed up with her class. She always says before a class that the test is going to be easy. This last test, she states it was the easiest test yet. It was the hardest test we had gotten. She arrives on test days late and takes forever to pass the tests out. Test used to be like the study guide but it is starting to stray. Shes okay.

I thought she was a very good teacher. Very clear in explaining answers to any questions the students asked. The project wasn't too hard, although it was time consuming. As long as you put in the time and effort, you will do well. :)

Class isn't the hardest in the world, and the project helps quite a bit. She did not really care anytime I had a problem, though. I talked to her in person and I emailed her, but all she was concerned about were the girls who kissed her butt.

I'm not particularly fond of her teaching style. This teacher is unavoidable if you are in the nutrition program so you just have to grin and bear it. She is a nice person.

Comment:

She is a pretty good teacher. She knows lots and has lots of first hand experience, she shares it in class. The class can be hard but she does offer some extra credit. There's a big project in the class worth 2 test grades. It is fairly easy. I got a 99 out of 100 on it. I had a low C for most of the class, pulled out a B in the end.Very nice too.

Took Dr. McCullough in the summer and failed the class after all the hard work I put into it. I do not recommend taking this class online unless you can handle reading a few chapters a day and also the nutrition project was very complex.

This teacher isn't a bad person, but an AWFUL teacher! She will put the powerpoints online, but they are no help to what is on the test. She makes a short study guide for each chapter, but admits that the test isn't based off of it. Therefore, if you can help it, don't talk this teacher.

I loved Dr. McCullough, she is very helpful and has a lot of extra credit opportunities. Her notes and slides are super helpful & clear. Study them and you'll do great! Highly recommended =)

I think shes a good and interesting teacher. She knows her stuff WEEL, and is very intersted in helping students and gettin them interested in nurtrition. We had a lot of guest speakers in our class. I really enjoyed her and found her helpful. I would recomend her. Shes not good at answering e-mails though. Sometimes she answers weeks later.

awesome prof! really good teacher and helps you understand the material. i thought she was an easy A but some people managed to do bad in this class. if you have to take this class, definetely sign up for her!!!

Julie is probably the best teacher at USI! she is very helpful and will work with you! I dont know what these other people are talking about! She is a very easy teacher and expect a good grade with her! she wants to see everyone do well!

I took this class online and thought it was pretty easy. Very easy projects. Easy, but time consuming homework, and not much of it. You actually have to print out her notes and at least know where to find the answers for the tests. A very easy B..maybe even A.

I have not had a very good experience since my first encounter with her. She is not friendly, strict and will not work with you under special circumstances. The assignments are lengthly and take up many hours of your time and that would be fine but they are worth very little points

This was an internet course and I expected McCullough to be more helpful since I only saw her 2 or 3 times actually in class. She wasn't and was very slow in responding to emails. She was also very vague in her explanations for assignments. One of the worst classes I have taken thus far.

I liked her. Her course material was very helpful and she only emphasized what was really important in the chapters, not the stupid piddly stuff like a lot of teachers do.
