Comment:

She was a great professor. Really depends on your relationship with her. I found her to be very helpful and I entered this class worried/nervous but I just did my work and it all turned out great. I came out of both 38A and B learning a lot. I am ready to move on forward. In the end I really enjoyed the challenge.

Honestly, this class is just based on you. Homework can be done whenever, but the tests have firm deadlines. She lets you repeat one test before the final. It is quite easy to get a 70% on an assignment while you only know 50% of that chapter...If you slack off, don't take Math38B online...

I have always been horrible at math. But after taking this class, I have a new outlook on it. I am not scared of it anymore. I took her online course. Absolutly the best teacher ever. Always answers questions fast, understands that life happens and will work with you. She even lets you work on all of the homework up until the day the final is due.

I think Dr. Marei is very helpful. She's good and also kind. Overall, I'm satisfied with the class. The rest really is up to you. I'm not a math person and I work really hard. Class is difficult enough but as long as you put in the hard work, you'll succeed in anything. Be prepared and do the work.

This professor is ridiculous. She requires you to get a 70% on every chapter before moving on to the next, which means if you have trouble with a chapter you are SOL since she doesn't reply in any helpful manner via email and locks assignments after due date. The online final is 10 hours long. Also, as stated above, email replies are useless.

I took her online through coursecompass. She requires all the hw to be 70% done before the test opens for that chapter. Tests have due dates but HW can be done whenever. I got A's on all the HW, and did badly on the tests but I still managed to pass with a C. There's a final as well. She reopened tests for you at the end with a emailed request.

She was an ok instructor for an online course in the time I was there. I took her last year but had to withdraw once I discovered I didn't need the courses. Whew! Math 12 was all I needed after Delta's inept counseling dept told me I needed 38A & B.

Her online class was the easiest class iv ever taken. You can do your homework whenever you feel like it. Homework was accepted even way after the due date has passed. It requires you get a "C" or better on the homework before you take te tests but the homework was very easy. If you got a bad grade on a test she reopens all of them towards the end

I took the online course. She made it easier than any math class I've ever had. Infinite attempts for homework, anytime you want even past the due date. Also infinite attempts on Tests, highest grade is the only one used, up until the due date. Twice in the semester she opened all the tests for the whole class so people could raise their grades.

She very understanding of students when it comes to taking tests and quiz's. She goes around the classroom helping each student. She is alittle bit hard to understand, but easy to get used to. Do the homework and be there everyday and you'll get a good grade. Ask lots of questions if something doesnt make sense. Overall she loves math and nice

Dr. Marei is a good teacher. She is strict on grading but it helps you. She got sick during spring 06 and some did not want her to come back. Until we got a new teacher. They soon realized how easy she made the subject. She breaks it down for you, but she does have a thick accent.

Ms. Marei is an egyptian woman so if you have a hard time understanding individuals with accents you might want to take another class. She is helpful if you take the time to get help. I feel she calls you up to the board because you may not be the only one that wants help with your question.

Can't understand her, she is not clear at all, and her grading system is way out of whack. Math can be so much more easy if she would just take the time to go over the problems(which she doesn't), instead she calls you up to the board to make a fool out of yourself.
