I'm finishing her class now. 6 case studyies, 3 exams, easy quizzes every week. I had no exp. so it was kind of hard. But, go to her for questions, ask a tutor & you can def. pull a B. Study quizzes for exams and you will do fine.

only take her online course if you know your way around web programming, otherwise you'll be left behind and spending lots of time searching for what you need to know. Moves at a fast pace, with projects due about every 2 weeks and quizzes/hw every week.

This class can be an easy A if you just follow the directions and read the material. Yes her directions can sometimes be confusing but she is always willing to help. I took online version with no previous programming and I didn't think it was too challenging. I say take her!

Her teaching method is to just turn on videos and then give extremely detailed project assignments and tells you to go see a tutor who doesnt tell you HOW to do anything they just do it and expect you to know it. For me, with no prior programming knowledge it was a struggle. Im lazy AF though & pulled a C..

I took the online version of this course with no previous programming experience and it was not a cake walk for me. I would email quesitons to her and she would respond in a timely manner. I ended up with an A in the course but I actually worked for it. I think its a little harder online if you have no programming experience.

Helpful & friendly. rarely confusing, but willing to help as long as you ask. Don't expect to do nothing and still pass, you do need to participate. She will meet your needs if you put forth obvious effort and work with you to help you succeed. She helped me realize my major and how to achieve it.

Helpful & friendly. Sometimes a little confusing, but she's always willing to help as long as you go to her. She is willing to meet you halfway. Don't expect to do nothing & pass- you actually have to participate. Good office hours & willing to work around busy schedules. I had no problems in her class.

Please by all means, take this class if you already know Visual Studio, it'll be an easy A. However, if you really want to LEARN your subject, skip this instructor, and watch the tutorial videos on Microsoft's website. You'll watch them anyway in her class! This way you'll at least save the cost of tuition.

Class is "meh"... Luckily for me, I had programming knowledge going into this class (not Java, however)... If you're a complete programming beginner, maybe take it with someone else? Class is painfully boring with powerpoint slides. She needs to actually show us programming and make it fun, but whatever.

I wish I had a job where I had to do no work. In class, just reads from a Powerpoint slideshow that is from the book publisher that we all have. The test is a printout from the book's website, taken on Scantron, so she doesn't even have to grade it. Useless class, but easy. Just go on test days.

One of the worst professors at VCU. Does not explain things well for the test--Thinks she is a know-it-all. Says she takes tests from book, but every class she disagrees with the book. DO ONT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER!!!
