Comment:

I avoided his class like the plague for next semester. He attempts to be funny but it just doesn't work and he has consistently put things on the test that were not from the study guide. He makes you write a paper every week as well as essays on the tests. He gives no feedback on any assignments and is overall just a very low-quality professor.

Comment:

He is fantastic! I had him for Honors Story of Jesus and I loved it. He is funny and the class was taught very well. It is more work than other sections from what I've heard, but if you put in the effort it is easy, especially because of the study guide.

Comment:

Absolutely loved him for Honors Story of Jesus; will be in Honors Story of the Church with him next semester. Average amount of homework and he tells you exactly what to do to get the grade you want. There will never be anything on the test that wasn't on the study guide. I got an A in the class and on every test just because of the study guide.

Most Entertaining professor in the Bible department by far! However you will do a paper every week and read a lot and his test are super hard! I would take him again though. I wasn't wanting to kill myself after his class just his test.

This guy as awesome at teaching Bible, and I am not even Christian. I just think if I could, I would take Williams for every Bible class. His perspective truly does differ from the common Christian biased perspective.

If you easily get side tracked taking notes DO NOT TAKE HIM. I am easily side tracked and when I asked for the powerpoints he uses for notes, I was told to take better notes. He's friendly and down to earth, but be careful!One good thing about him is he accepts all sorts of late work!

Though Mr. Williams was a lot of work, his class taught me everything that was promised in the course work You will have weekly journals due but if you do them, you will be prepared for the tests and the discussions in class.

I had him for Story of the Church.You need to be accustomed to hearing awful, cheesey jokes. Academically the only grades we got are on tests. He sets the bar high. You either have to get a 93 or 94 to get an A. He gives you detailed study guides. But, you have to REALLY study for the tests, he's pretty hard.

I think he's great! I loved his class. Yes, it was hard, but it was greek! He expects you to study and to pay attention. He is completely willing to help you if you ask. Overall, I loved having him as a teacher.

He's really hard. I consider myself an A student, and I got a B in his class. I took Honors Story of Church from him. I hope you are good at paying attention to minor lecture details and memorizing about 20 sets of lists of about 6-8 items each for tests. After everyone bombed our first tests, he made study guides 4 the rest, but they're hard too.

He is so stinking hard. You will know Greek fluently after one year if you are able to pass.
