He is a true botanist, so if you love trees and plants take him! He gets so excited when you ask m bout a species or he discovers something on a hike. The field trips are a lot of fun and his grading system is fail-proof unless you never show up & have never seen a tree before. Lots of memorizing Latin names.

He is hilarious! Such a nice guy and all his tests come directly from the online quizzes and tests at the end of the modules. People who say he's hard clearly did not put in any effort. Takes attendance but you dont have to pay attention in class, just memorize the quiz questions and module questions and youll be set!

This Organic Evolution course mostly focused on "discussion." He did get a bit carried away at times with his story telling, but he made up for it if you needed an in-depth explanation.

He can be funny once in a while. He is very absentminded. Youll be sitting in class and suddenly he'll be talking about Vietnam or something. His tests seem hard at first, but his online quizzes aren't bad. Make sure you get the correct answers for the quizzes because the quiz is 35 questions and the test is 40 and 35 of the test ?'s come from quiz

All the power points relate to the textbook. Online graded quizzes before each exam. Material covered is fairly easy if you pay attention in class. Is not afraid to call you out in class if you're talking or listening to music and he does take attendance and requires a note if your absent. Gives you extra credit opportunities outside of class.

He is GREAT!! =D He puts all of his lectures as podcasts online and puts the powerpoints online also. Goes into a lot of detail in lecture, but tests are not as detailed. Gives a quiz a week before a test online which is almost a mirror of the test. He is SO interesting!! He's really awesome!

Dr. Milewski is great. He has life experience for nearly everything he is teaching you. He goes quickly through his lecture slides, but they are all up on his website. He also podcasts his lectures. He does arbitrarily take roll, so don't think you never have to go. He's extremely knowledgeable about biology, so just ask if you need help.

Milewski is inspiring. If you attend the classes regularly, you will realize how amazing he is. The person right before me described him best. He always has a humorous story about unlucky situations he has been in. I found that BIO and CHEM courses at ESU need help. The teachers are overworked and IT logistics suck. He makes it worthwhile.

This man is a BOSS. He knows what he's talking about, his tests are fairly easy, and he's very approachable. Vietnam war vet with 9.5 fingers, this man is badass. In the words of Dr. Milewski, "Fuck off, I'm a botanist!"

The class was easy the first half of the semester but then the quizes started to become difficult and there was always a mistake on the quizes while we were going over them the test were okay i dont think I would take him again he was boring and sometimes difficult to understand uses powerpoints quizes taken on computer at home

Awesome professor to take for your Intro Bio class. Im now a junior and I have had alot of hard classes and this class by my standards was not hard I would say the class was a 4 out of 10. Pretty easy as long as you did the work. I thought the test were reasonable and he was very knowledgeable. One of the best professors in the biology department.

Awful professor. He tells stories about how bad the administration and other professors are during almost every class. He podcasts the lectures, but he rambles so much during class, that they are a waste. He is very nice to you if you suck up to him, but if he finds a reason to dislike you, he can be vindictive.
