Cheek is a great professor! His classes are very rigorous though. A lot of group work is also required. Be prepared to read your textbook and take notes as well. He also preforms regular quizzes that you CAN NOT be late for. He is overall an understanding cool guy!

Mr. Cheek was a great instructor. Gives great feedback and allows you to make up work if you do not get a good grade the first time. Participation is important and all work must be completed. Good class.

I took Mr. Cheek's online "Skills for Managers" and "Motivation and Empowerment" courses; they were great! There was about 3 hours of work per week for each class, totally reasonable, and all the work was related to things I needed to improve in my workplace. I learned a lot from his classes. There were tight deadlines- but totally reasonable.

This teacher is awesome! Really good sense of humor too. I'm not sure what "HOTNESS" refers to, I am a man and this is a male teacher... so, I out "no". But, this guy has been one of my favorite teachers.

My experience with Rich Cheek is that he gave thoughtful feedback and his lecture material was helpful with the textbook chapters. He is reasonable and he expects you to give him something to read each week. Show what you learned!

Rich is a great professor, but his class is no joke. Attendance is required to pass the class and the book is required also. You have a quiz every week, and must write a 500 word paper for each chapter. I learned a lot, but it was a lot of work! Quizzes are tricky and you must print out all the class assignment.

I read the comments and was bit worried to take his class, BUT IM GLAD I DID NOT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE NEGATIVE THINGS SAID ABOUT HIM. He is a nice funny guy, very reasonable. There is quizes on the reading but they are only 10 questions. If you read you will be fine.I LOVE THIS CLASS. Definitely would recommend him!

Extremely difficult,confusing & unreasonable in class.When you need help,he answers your question with a question.He teaches 2 a minimum but grades to the extreme.Plays Youtube videos every class. All the insight papers are a joke; U literally get 10 points or nothing at all. U are not allow 2 take the daily quiz if u show up 1 min. late to class.

If you can, don't take a class with him. He's a black and white type of person. He's unreasonably strict and ridged. You either get 0 or 100 on his insight papers. His directions are unclear. I did learn some interesting things but that was mainly for myself reading the book on my own.

You show up 1 minute late, he will not allow you to take the class quiz. No make up material allowed EVER!U must write 22 PERFECT chap summaries & if you miss any little point on them, NOT CREDIT at all,ZERO!!Is either all or nothing. 2 Team Projects;he teams the worst students together on purpose and gives you a bad grade afterwards. Overall an amazing class. I was recommended by a number if students and teachers to take his management course. Although I wasn't very interested at first I became more and more intrigued at every class. I learned so much and had a great time doing so. He would always interact with the students and help them in all ways possible. Just amazing.

Comment:

Cheek is one of the best professors I have ever had. He truly cares about his students and tries his hardest to be fair. Make sure you read the textbook because the daily quizzes can be hard. There is no midterm or final, though. The group project is also a lot more fun than you would expect. Take this class, you wont' regret it.

Mr. Cheek is a really fun teacher. He made this class exciting to be in. At first, I thought this class was going to be really easy, but it actually turned out to be a bit challenging toward the end, which was good. I definately recommend Mr. Cheek!
