Comment:

Dr. Love's enthusiasm and humor trumps everything. His first test was alarming and I got a C, but I received As on the others. Change your study habits for exams. Reading the textbook may be slightly important, but attending class is essential. Most material he said during lecture was not from the book. This year might be his last.

This class takes a lot of work, don't walk in thinking it's a blow off class. You HAVE to read and take good lecture notes because he pulls random facts from the textbook to use on his tests. He has interesting lectures sometimes, but his tests are very specific. Your grade is lowered for missing class...

Go to class, take good notes, and read the chapters, and you will do just fine. This class has 4 tests (all multiple choice with a few short answer that he tells you about) and 1 paper. If he says something 2x or writes it on the board, write it down. Do not use your cellphone or he will call you out. One of the best teachers at UCM hands down.

I expected this class to be super easy. However I am passing biology classes easier than this. Super good guy and still recommend taking his class, but he really enjoys talking about himself and gets off topic a lot. I'll study then will see new stuff on test and or feel like there is mult. answers. High energy and passionate. NOTHING online.

If you have any opportunity at all TAKE ONE OF DR. LOVE'S CLASSES! Even if your major is completely different or if you just need a random couple of hours of credits, take this class. Not as easy as bowling or some random elective, but this professor will literally change your outlook on life for the better. Do it, you won't regret it.

Dr. Love is my absolute favorite teacher here at UCM. He's so down to Earth and connects with his students in a very different way than most teachers. His class is so interesting and probably my favorite ever. There are no tests and as long as you show up, you're good to go! LOVE THIS CLASS!!

Dr. Love was a wonderful professor. You can tell that he has a genuine interest in the material he is discussing and wants that to come across to his students. He also has NO tests! I believe we had three essays to write for the course but he's a very easy grader if you put in the effort.

Took this class a few years ago. If you can take Valuing Differences, take it. Didnt need the class but a great elective!! He is an amazing teacher but even better person. My sister and I wish we could take more of his classes. BEST teacher on campus.

Very interesting! Blue toes and sandles all year but thats why we love him! Lots of stories. Tests are pretty hard. Essay and m.c. 1st test is the worst! your grade is based off 4 tests.

Dr. Ciafullo is awesome! He is the best teacher I've had. He has great insight and has a lot to teach every one of his students. Everyone should take one of his classes. He is very inspiring. I am enrolled to take another one of his classes next semester. He is the greatest!
