Just such a dry lecturer. The material she was teaching in this class was incredibly boring so that doesn't help either. Very nice woman though

This is one of the best classes I've taken at Creighton. Prior to the start of class, I thought this would be really boring. However, Dr. Crawford really worked made the material applicable to any future jobs we may get. I would recommend this class for anybody, you will learn a lot!

The class is not difficult, however it is also extremely disorganized. The lectures are painful, attending this class is my least favorite part of the week.

First off she is very leftist when it comes to health care so if that bothers you I would avoid. With that being said it is a very easy class with take home midterm and final and only one big project all semester that is actually fairly interesting. Attendance is not mandatory but you get a participation grade so go, speak once a week and get an A.

Dr. Crawford was extremely helpful with everything! Her class was extremely easy and found some of the discussions to be quite interesting. Her final was based off the quizzes you take online and a short essay. I loved her!!

Dr. Crawford's class was great. It was mainly discussion based. Two papers, a project, open-book quizzes, and a final make up the grade along with participation. I had plenty of background knowledge going in, which made it more interesting than someone who didn't. She's amusing to watch lecture as well.

Dr. Crawford is an excellent professor who truly wants her student to succeed. Some guidelines may be unclear, but if you ask her she will clarify. She is one of the best professors I have taken at Creighton and you will learn in her class.

I LOVED THIS CLASS! She is a wonderful professor, with lots of flexibility and always willing to help. Lectures can be kinda long, and there is alot of reading, but it is well worth your time. The project was easy, papers pertain to your personal learning experience. great class. TAKE HER!!! :)

No guidance at all. Nearly no 1on1 student help. Incredibly high expectations for how little instruction is given. Huge group project with no guidance. Tons of reading. Everything about the class is fair game for tests. Class is painfully vague and stays that way. Teacher expectations are inproportionate to the amount and quality of instruction.

Terrible. This teacher has the least amount of organization I have ever experienced. She really made me feel my tuition money go to waste. Assignments were sporadic. inproportionate amount of reading for course material. No willingness nor ability to help students. No clarification on anything really. Theres a huge group project. No guidance at all

Dr Crawford is awesome. She is very willing to help in any possible way. There are two papers and two tests (the midterm and final). There are often quizzes over the readings- one or two general questions. If you skim the reading you will still do fine. The instructions on the paper are vague, but they are generally easy. Take her-its a great class

Dr. Crawford is a wonderful lady. She really cares about us as people. She is a pretty easy professor also. The material itself is tough, but she is very helpful. Her tests are not to tough, and she always gives you the option of justifying your answer.

Dr. Crawford is a nice lady, but quite frankly she's a terrible teacher. Her tests are so insane it's almost impossible to study for them. She's a tough grader, and her office hours make it hard to get help. She's difficult to seek for help, and all in all, do not take her class!! I you do, you'll wish you didn't!!

Dr. Crawford get a bad rap because her classes are more difficult and she expects alot, but she incorporates alot of group work to make it interesting, lively and peer motivated. This is rare in most PLS classes. She is very helpful and a very fair grader. I recommend her for this class and others.

Comment:
For her nonprofit management class, you have to write a 20 page paper, SINGLE SPACED, plus 3 shorter memos. Her lectures are disorganized and often hard to follow. Her body language is hillarious if you watch. She flails her arms, cups the balls in the air, and all kinds of stuff.
