I took Wade's class for Fundamentals of Public Speech. If you aren't very good at talking in front of a crowd, then take this class. The first four weeks are all about anxiety, and the first speech you get an automatic 100 just for going up. Very easy going, and you definitely don't need to show up every day.

He was really fun and very nice. He also did a very good job of helping me learn HOW to give speeches, and Im a very shy person. graded easy and most days we got to go home early.

He was a fun instructor. Took the class to learn video editing. Was taught Final Cut Pro, which btw is what a lot of studios use and also worked with HD camera. You have to show up and do the assignments to learn. I noticed the other students that talked about "New Technology" did nothing but talk about it, they never produced anything.

I enjoyed and learned a lot from the class. I had some prior video experience but still learned a lot. I realized it's part of a "transfer Program" We did a lot in this class and it has benefited me now that I go to a four year school and am taking film classes.

He's hilarious! The class was very easy. I got A's and B's on the four speeches even though I felt as if I did bad. Easy grader. Show up for your speeches, and you can pretty much skip the rest of the days. Take-home final, piece of cake.

1) You get out of his classes what you put into it. 2) He prepares students to move on in radio, doesn't really with TV. 3) Not really up on the new technology. 4) REALLY nice guy if he likes you. Cordial enough if he doesn't. 5) Will allow those who want to do this for a living to get their opportunities. I don't, so I miss chances... my choice!

Extremely easy professor! Tests(which is only a midterm) are open book open note. Watched movies most days in class on racism & sexism and he gave us the questions that we might need to know for the test. Usually only 5 Q's per movie. Group assignments were also very simple! I highly recommend this teacher and class!

Wade is a very nice person. He is knowledgable about Media and radio. He is perfect for his job. Easy to approach about anything and is willing to help students who are serious with his time. Sports Announcing for basketball was fun too. If you're intereted in sports announcing Centralia is the place to learn thanks Wade for a great winter quarter!

Mass media was extremely easy. He claims you need to be there every day, but most of the stuff is common sense. Just have someone else put your name on the attendance sheet for the movies. He's really nice, and most of the time really helpful, but he's kind of a spaz.

I'd already done some radio prior to taking his class, but Wade brought all the elements together. I've spent 15 years in the biz since, and he's a big reason why. Students willing to listen and learn will do well. The best Radio program at any two-year school in Washington.

Taught radio classes, got me into radio business. Knows his stuff, is a relaxed, fun guy who understands being a working parent. Very nice, lots of humor in his classes, makes courses fun.
