Comment:

I took Dr. Hunter when he taught Major British Writer 1(fall 2017) and at first I though I was going to hate it because I knew it was going to be lots of old English literature and poems and worst of all Shakespeare. I ended up loving it, the material was very intriguing. Because of this class, and Dr. Hunter, I am now minoring in English.

Comment:

There are a lot of papers in this class, but they are not hard. He gives you a week to write each paper and they're only like 2-3 pages. Class is always enjoyable and he encourages everyone to be open and share their opinions. I always looked forward to his class.

Comment:

I am a Nursing major, and to have to take a Shakespeare class was awful and uninteresting to me. However, Professor Hunter made the class semi-enjoyable. There are a lot of assignments, and he grades them harshly. As long as you pay attention in class, you will be fine. Attendance is mandatory.

Professor Hunter is AMAZING! One of my favorite classes I've taken so far. His class is very laid back and relaxing, he's super cool. Would definitely take any one of his classes again.

Good luck getting past his ego. He is a terrible teacher with a bad attitude. He continuously scolds students for not being prepared and is a hard grader. Nothing satisfies him. Avoid!

Amazing professor! Teaches you about the material and relates it to everyday life. He is very helpful and actually pushes you to understand the material yourself, but it is easy! A pretty easy grader and loves quotes..I actually enjoy this english class!
