She is an adorable lady and absolutely the nicest! I have taken her two semesters now and she is very laid back and understanding. Her tests are straight to the point and she gives you the questions for the final oral ahead of time. I definitely suggest taking her but sign up quick because her classes ALWAYS fill up!

I loved her. She is very kind and she genuinely likes to teach. Goes over homework as a class and never collects it, but having it done and attending class ultimately help your grade. max 15 mins prep for any test and I got an A

She is a really nice lady and she is very willing to help you. Her tests can be challenging but if you study they are easy. She gives homework everyday but she doesn't yell if you don't have it done. I felt that I learned a lot from her and I'd take her again.

Ana Maria is the best! She is so fun, smart, funny, and just a great teacher. She is a main reason why I am pursuing a Spanish minor now. I just registered for her Int. MLSP 202 course and am very excited to have her again!

She is a very nice teacher. A great person to take for any of the introduction courses to Spanish. Always makes sure she goes at a pade at which the students can keep up. Willing to help, always encourages students. Learned a lot, but never felt like the class was too much work. Really great lady, take her if you can!!

She was an amazing professor. Incredibly nice, always willing to help. Never made her students feel dumb, and told you exactly what would be on the tests. I learned a lot, but it wasn't hard. Fabulous person! Take her if you get the chance, she is amazing!!

She is so sweet & helpful. Her tests are pretty easy and she really does try her best to help you learn and understands it's frustrating at times. Her teaching is sometimes a little vague, but overall I would recommend her and she's very nice!

Professor Merell is an awesome lady. She takes the time to answer questions and explains things well. It was fun to watch the bullfight and listen to how her cousin was a bullfighter and got killed...crazy lady but a ton of fun. Highly recommend taking her class to everyone.

Although she is often times confusing in her explanations, it is an easy A. I rarely went to class yet I received an A. Homework assignments actually help and she gives the questions ahead of time for the spoken portion of the final exam, which is slightly difficult. Tests are generally simple.
