Comment:

Dr. Clancy is a very different person. She has a very carefree and bubbly personality. I loved her class. Her tests were not super difficult if you studied and the lab saves your grade by a lot. She also gives chances for extra credit.

Comment:

Dr. (not Ms.) Clancy is one of the teachers that reminded me teachers have hearts (and can be swayed, in a way). DO show up to class because she has her way of punishing those who don't (test questions). Study slides and lecture notes for tests and then pray bc those things are so reaching and she'll usually have to end up curving. V Cool person.

A woman I'll never forget. intelligent in her field yet relatable & fun. class itself was extremely easy: 100 on most tests without trying. Her main message was to think for yourself and not let media poison your mind with false science claims. Hilarious/hippyish, made an extensive effort to dispel the idea: evolution humans evolved from monkeys

Comment:

I had Dr. Clancy for Human Biology. She is a sweet sweet lady who is soon retiring. She's still kicking though;) she's funny and really cares to teach. Very knowledgeable, even when asked random questions. GO TO LAB! 30% of grade. Tests are 70%, and she curves every test 10-15 points! Get on her good side and don't cheat, please! She hates it.

Lab keeps you afloat. she is very caring, but DO NOT use phones in her class. Very lecture heavy and tests usually Pretty hard. Class average for every one of them was a D. Labs are a life saver

Amazing teacher! Took her for May intercession so it was really fast paced. However, she is a real sweetheart! We had mini tests everyday for 2 weeks and last week we did presentations on disease. If you get the chance, take her! She's a legend.

Dr. Clancy is very sweet and caring. Pay attention in lecture and study the slides. Tests are multiple choice, but they require you to apply concepts. Many chances for extra credit so you don't want to miss class. I would love to take her again!

Dr. Clancy is the best bio teacher ever! She is super funny and very intelligent. She is willing to spend all sorts of time after class helping you if you want, and she does great lectures. Definitely worth your time. Take her class if at all possible!

Dr. Clancy is a great lady, and I really respect her. I wouldn't, however, take this class again. There is no homework and you don't have to show up for class, but the tests are awful. I somehow made an A in the class but I think it's just because she's nice because I was thoroughly confused every second I sat in her class.

I went into this class thinking it was going to be awful but it turned out to be a great class because of Dr. Clancy. She is very nice and helpful. Tests are hard if you don't take note but she posts all the power points online. She also gives a lot of bonus which usually brings up your test grade significantly.

Clancy's intelligence goes far and beyond. She also goes far and beyond for her students. She gives great grades and answers any and all questions during lecture. She encourages all of her students to think and to learn. Her class can be a lot of fun, but the tests require that you take very good notes.

She is one of my favorites! Little to no homework and there are quizzes that are just bonus points! Tests need to be studied for but everything is off of her slides. Plus, after every test there is about 10 bonus points you can get for talking to her in a class discussion! If I ever have to take a biology course again I am definitely taking her!

Loved her!!!! She makes class fun because she doesn't talk about the subject the whole class. She likes telling stories. Test were not easy, but if you study you will get a good grade. She also allows you to make up a few points when she goes over the test. She gives quizes, but they are practically bonus points because they arent biology related.

She's an amazing teacher. She made everything so easy to understand and follow. She'll make time to meet with you if needed. If you miss a lab, she's flexible. Her tests are only what she covers in class. I learned so much from her.

While Dr. Clancy is a hard teacher this should not frighten you from taking her class. She is the most outstanding teacher I have ever had and makes science fun and easy as she can. She is very helpful in anyway she can be and strives to be outgoing and have intelligent conversations with her students. Will take her again. LGBT Friendly.

Dr. Clancy is a GREAT teacher! She gives 4 tests a semester with no quizzes. Her lectures are very interesting and she goes straight from powerpoints that she posts online. Her tests are mainly from the powerpoints but she does add things from her lecture. Be sure to pay attention to her interests because that's it will be on the tests.

LOVE Dr. Clancy. She is interesting and funny. Attendance isn't mandatory but is extremely helpful. She gives lots of bonus points if you show up the class after an exam. She made biology interesting to me and I am so NOT a science person. I would recommend her to anybody!

SHE IS MY FAVIRIOTE TEACHER! The class was easy if you attended it(she even gave bonus points) and the labs were fun. I definitely would take her again, and I will!
