Mr. Ziaei is One of a kind and he is an excellent Professor. Its a pleasure to be in his class. He is an easy going Professor but the subjects that he teaches are hard. period. Highly recommended.

It was terrible! I really don't recommend him - he's really unorganized and confusing. He thinks we know how to do everything already which makes the material even harder to understand. He goes off tangent very easily and quite often and takes forever to get back on track with the limited time left in class. DON'T TAKE HIM

I absolutely hated this class. He goes off on tangents about nothing and when he finally teaches it is circular and doesn't make any sense. Almost everyone in the class failed every single test, no joke.

I can only say one thing, HE'S A HARD TEACHER AND GRADER.Even though he lets you have a cheat sheet it's still hard to get an A. Calculus is a hard subject. But if you actually do the homework, study the textbook examples, and prepare your crib sheet (Math 104), you can get an A! Do not expect to coast in this class, over 50% dropped the 104 class and 33% drop the 103 class. It is a washout course for Engr & Sci majors. But if you are willing to work, he is willing to help

He is a cool guy and he teaches well. but i agree with the comment below, the tests are really hard you have to study harddd. but the good thing is he gives alot of extra credits. quizes are easier compare to the testss. but he is a fair guy,and he is not strict on grading.

RUN RUN RUN DONT TAKE THIS MAN...his tests are hard and he cant teach..He'll teach you one small thing then he'll put a satelite system from outerspace to the earth and you have to find the damn answer...he picks the hardest problems ..only good part is he gives extra credit....take my advice trust me...more then half his class dropped.

Ziaie knows a lotttt... and he tries his best to teach you everything he knows. he's fun, interesting, and nice. The problem is that his tests are very hard. If you are not lazy take him, if you are don't. YOu'll die.

He knows too much to be teaching such a low math class. He keeps talking about physics when we are there to LEARN algebra. He is not enthusiastic about teaching and talks about how he hates teaching algebra which makes us feel like crap. He tries to help, though and is nice. He smokes too much.
