Worst professor ever showed up everyday to class on time only to get a D. Doesn't curve anything tests are nearly impossible to pass. Lectures are long and boring expects freshman to be experts in geography 216 and land systems. He is super rude and never responds to emails. Avoid at all costs to keep your GPA up.

He really knows his stuff and has a passion for it. I thought his grading was fair and a bit generous. I would definitely take a course from him again. I caution students this material is deceptively simple. Get your best study habits on for this one.

He is a very dry professor and class can be really boring. Best suggestion is to take notes on his PPT. There is very little material on the exams from the textbook, it is all from lecture. NO HOMEWORK!! Your grade is based on 5 Exams. Go to class and its an easy A or B depending how the amount of effort you put in.

Super great prof. He comes across gruff in class but that's because he expects students to take his class seriously. Outside of class he's a whole dif person. Although not mandatory, don't miss any class and read the material and Power Points. Not an easy A but you'll know you earned it if you get it. Truly a professional in every way.

Tough class. Definitely read the book sections he assigns for the test. You can average a B if you review your notes, read, and look at the maps. Do not show up late to class. Stay awake. Take notes- you use them! Whole class is over powerpoints, which he puts up on D2L. very helpful.

The class itself was fairly straightforward. He tells you what you need to know for every single test. He would have study sessions to answer questions prior to our tests. Prof was contently dropping hints over and over about what to study for the exams. I have no interest in geography but didn't have any trouble paying attention and got an A

Definitely avoid this professor if at all possible. I studied very hard for each of the tests only do to poorly on them. He is very arrogant and not helpful when you ask questions. He will stare at you for several minutes if you walk into class a minute late.

Dull, lifeless, nose in the air, loves to hear himself talk and he's completely BORING. This class was the first I've ever dozed off in. If you're looking to take a soil class take it from the ETS department instead.

This man is really demeaning and rude. He has no sense of humor and his power points are from the stone age. He is very harsh...seems to be mad at life...or something. Might say something that even though he is a geography professor his office is in a whole different area than everyone elses.

one of the worst profs. i have a geog minor and am confused by his tests. now i realize why his office is on the other side of the building...not even the other geog profs like him. BORING and uptight. no sense of humor. not typical of geog profs at state.

This class is not difficult if you listen in class and take good notes. He gives you a lot of hints as to whats going to be on the test. He gives 6 quizzes throughout the semester on locations, but they are an easy 60 points out of 560. His tests aren't too bad as long as you attend class, read book, and understand the locations. Easy B-A for me!
