I felt bad because people would always leave his class when he'd start the movies. He's crystal clear when it comes to quizzes and tests; everything is from the textbook or the movies. Do your reading and you'll get an A.

Musical Theatre. Best teacher in the theatre department. Should really be hired on full time. Only teacher I've encountered who actually respects Shakespeare. Can't say better than that. Great sense of humor, always respects his students. Very kind and understanding, but still has standards. The best!

You watch a movie every class and they end up on your midterm/final...so watch them. I honestly slept through most of them and thought they were boring, but passed anyway. READ THE BOOK. Quiz every class from textbook. I didn't pass all of them but got an A. Nice guy, I felt bad every time 80% of the class emptied out.

He is so optimistic & enjoyable, highly recommended. If you attend class & READ the textbook you will do great. Make sure you attend his classes. He is willing to help you if you ask & offers a good amount of extra credit. You watch films throughout class & a lot that sound boring, I ended up loving. He really is great, take his classes. He rocks!

Keast is a beast in acting! I took him for the winter intersession and he was a joy to learn from. We had no book work but he drills us a lot in acting techniques and line memorization. He will critique you hard on your performances but it really helps out in the end!

I kind of felt bad for him because he could sense people were leaving early and not watching the movies haha. He's a nice, helpful guy and rewards people who engage in discussions and put in extra effort. The class is pretty easy. I averaged about a 3/5 on his daily quizzes but I still got an A in the class.

if u don't wanna ruin your GPA stay away from his class. Other Thart class doesn't have quizzes every meeting, but he has quizzes for the entire semester. Other class's test is open book, this class??absolutely not. quiz,midterm,term paper,final all stand the same 25%. If u got bad on each, then u will end it up with C/D

Wanna find an easy A from this class?? FORGET ABOUT IT.Taking this class was the great mistake. i can feel his passion for films, and i bet he's a great actor. a quize for every class on readings and close-book midterm and final with 50 questions(they were ok,just seriously read!)However, if u just want it as an easy class for ur GEs, i would say try ANOTHER professor!

i really enjoyed this class, keast was very helpful and supportive and really seemed like he enjoyed and knew his stuff. The only thing i didn't like was some of the students were very rude and took advantage of his kindness. i would recommend this class to anybody it was my favourite class of the semester

Nice guy and very humorous. If you are a Theatre major, take him, you won't be sorry. He is a great film, vocal, and acting teacher. He is the reason i kept taking his classes and still take them. I will continue taking classes with Brent until I transfer. He is the greatest!!!

This teacher is the most laid back teacher I have ever had and the best of the best, he really knows his stuff. Great Movies and Lectures, however I think having a test everyday off the book in not necessary, makes you forget about the movies due to the book. He not only is artistic but technical as well which is a big plus.. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!!!
