DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!! For one she doesn't follow a text book in which you may think is a plus but is far from it. She goes off nothing and it gets really confusing really fast and you have nothing to look back on. She is so unorganized its insane and she does have powerpoints but with literally only pictures and no info to study from.

her method for teaching HISTORY is to take weird approaches. She has zero clue what is going on and I do not know how any University could give her a degree. Also very very very biased and very Liberal. Makes a point to trash every idea that isn't Democratic

I am in this class now and everyday I pray that it is over. Please take my advice and take it at a community college or with any other professor at Rider University. If you decide to take it you will regret it. Worst teacher I have have had.

Prof. Hunter is very caring and wants her students to learn. However, she makes you work really hard for your grade. She was very lecture heavy and gave us reading assignments for every class. I thought she was nice and very knowledgeable, but it was a stressful course for only being a 100 level course.

Prof. Hunter is very caring and wants you to learn. Although, she does expect a lot from her students even though it is a 100 level class. If you do the work and study hard for her misterm and final you should be fine. Keep in mind this is not one of those classes you can take for an easy GPA booster. She makes you work hard for your grade!

Professor Hunter is great! This class had its boring moments, but overall was interesting because it was on topics that are more recent. She is a tough grader and you will have homework almost once a week that's extensive. Her lectures are very long and tiresome. She is very organized and has a clear syllabus.

You have about 5 articles to read for every class. Her lectures are way too fast, and what she puts on the powerpoint is not related to what she is saying whatsoever, so not taking is nearly impossible. She is a very harsh grader, don't expect an A on anything. If you miss a class you lose about 5 points on your grade. Horrible.

Professor Hunter really has a passion for history and enjoys teaching it. Her lectures a way too long though, and she goes too fast and doesn't leave time to take notes from her long ass slides. She is awkward and does a lot of her teaching by reading pages of notes. Regardless, she's a nice lady and will help if you need it, and organized too.

Hunter is a great professor, passionate about the subject, and genuinely cares about her students. If you are struggling or have any problems she is very helpful and understanding. She is a tough grader and expects A LOT from her students.

Not a great experience unless you're an athlete. She even requests to know if you are an athlete on the first day of class which is a bit fishy if yo ask me. Very tough grader. Friendly but defensive. Better options in the history department at Rider.

Dr. Hunter is impossible. She gives assignments without explaining the details and gets annoyed when you explain that you don't understand. I'm an Honor Student at Rider and struggled through her 100 level class. Worst Prof I had in 4 years. STAY AWAY!

She's a nice woman, she really is. And the more I got to know her, the more I liked her. But, her class is tough. She expects a lot from her students, especially on the midterm and the final. You really need to devote a lot of time and attention to your class if you want an A. I like her as a person a lot though.

Dr. Hunter is a great professor. She is a very fair grader and well-organized. She let's you know exactly what she wants. Her Native American History course was my favorite class at Rider and she presents the content in a very interesting and engaging manner. She was a great guidance counselor as well, did anything she could to help.
