She is an easy "A", open book tests & final. You can substitute concerts as long they applied to the music in class. The class was boring- alot of classical music listening and history of musicians. Don't let her rants bother you,everyone has an opinion. Show for class and pay attention and you are fine.

She should definitely not be teaching! She's a little looney, but an easy A. I thought for sure I was going to fail this class, but was pleasantly surprised when I recieved an A. Just go to class and stick with it and you will pass.

This teacher is worthless. Class consists of whatever u do on your own time plus your five minute meeting with her per week. That is five minutes only if she shows up. Also she will laugh at you if you make a mistake and tell you that there is no hope of you playing piano.

Dr. Giles,without a dout,is the worst proffesor I have ever had! She goes on unrelated topic rants, is incoherant during most classes, and has a poor overall elitest attitude. Even with a standing of an A in her class I can't recommend her to anyone. Evenwith our cheap tution,she isnt worth the $!

If you miss alot of classes forget it. She has a strict attendence policy. If you are a republican forget it. She will make you mad. The class is very easy though consisting of take home test only and she is entertaining.
