DO not take any class with Dr. Frye. She is beyond disorganized, and made it clear to us that she had NO interest in taking the class. When she was there (5%) of the time, she didnt teach us anything, and still expected us to know it for the exams. Worst experience with a professor I have ever had.

Dr. Frye is the most unorganized professor I have encountered at UAlbany over the past 4 years. She is unreliable and expects her students to understand material that she is not even teaching. Half of the time Dr. Frye barely showed up to class with no prior notice to any of the students/TA. We spent majority of classes just twiddling our thumbs.

Dr. Frye is a dedicated, tough instructor. She takes complicated neuroscience facts and dissects them into sections we can understand. She gives clear lesson plans and reading, clearly explains what will be n quizzes, and gives opportunities for extra credit/help if you are struggling. She WANTS you to "get" the material and to pass.

Overall, this class was amazing. Dr. Frye is an amazing professor who is dedicated to getting her students interested and excited about neuroscience. All of the tools to pass the course are given to you, it is up to you to use it wisely. Definitely read the textbook and pay attention to lectures if you want to learn more and pass the course.

Dr. Frye is an expert in psychopharmacology and brings it to the level that students can understand and incorporate. You need to take this class- It is one of the best offered at UAlbany. She is on the cutting edge of knowledge and pushes students to understand what is going on in the brain and the body with respect to psychopharmacology.

This has been my favorite class so far, and this was junior year. She makes the classes interesting, relatable, and provides real life examples. Deadlines were unclear at times, but it was taken care of by the end of the semester, and she said it would be resolved for future classes. This is the college class everyone has dreamed about.

Best Psychology professor I have taken in UAlbany to date. She is always there for her students, is very knowledgeable in the field that she studies. Go to class or you won't pass, Weekly test regarding the topic shown in class. If you do the work, participate in class, and find the time to do the extra credit assignments you will enjoy ths class

I took this class as an elective and there is a lot of information to take in. Professor Frye really knows her stuff and was always willing to allow extra credit to boost your grade. There were quizzes every week online but only counted towards participation. Overall, a good course to take.

If you work hard Dr. Frye will provide you with great opportunities, in research, clinical work, and recommendations. I always enjoyed her lectures. Dr. Frye has health difficulties, but she was enthusiastic about the class content every morning. The syllabus was confusing, but Dr. Frye takes feedback positively so this will improve in future class

Prof. Frye is one of the best professors I have had at UAlbany. Not only is she caring and concerned about her students success, she is a water fall of knowledge and I learned more than I could imagine in her advanced biopsychology class. You must take her course before graduating. Love her, I wish she taught all my courses!

We studied Neuranatomy, and Dr. Frye brought in a REAL HUMAN BRAIN! I will remember everything about the lobes of the brain because i got to see them in a real live (not) human brain - can you believe it? Worth the price of admission, for sure.

very easy class if you put the time into it. there is a 10 Q quiz at the end of every class that is on the material you were supposed to read and the lecture she just taught-basically if you paid attention in class and read the textbook prior to coming in class, there's no reason you should get lower than a 9/10. she teaches well and is interesting
