Huston's an amazing teacher! Engaging lectures, makes the topic understandable and intriguing, and super caring and goofy professor. Going to office hours helped me understand the topics and he's always willing to explain and help you out. Tests and homeworks were sometimes challenging but fair

Excellent professor. He made lectures engaging, and informative, and is always helpful during office hours. His exams are challenging but the weekly Homework questions he gives are great preparation for the tests. He is such a funny and kind man, and I love that he applies the concepts to real-world examples.

I am an econ major, but Intermediate Micro was a beast! Dr. Huston explained the complex material very well and was always available in office hours. He really cares about his students and wants everyone to pass. Take as many classes as you can with him! He's the best econ professor.

Dr. Huston is perhaps one of the best professors I have ever had. While Intermediate Micro was one of the hardest classes I've taken, I came out of the class feeling as if i had learned a great deal. Problem sets can be tricky but he's very helpful in office hours. Take him!

My favorite Econ professor at Trinty. His Intermediate Microeconomics class is tough, but he is the best teacher at it. Do the homework sets, because they are reflected on the tests. Also, GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS...he is extremely helpful!

I have to force myself not to laugh obnoxiously at everything he says. He sprints from one end of the room to the other and uses the craziest and most random objects on his graphs. I went to his office hourse one time, and on the Y axis he put mice and on the X axis he put tubas. Take his class. Its awesome.

I took the "dismal seminar" with him my first year. He is very nice and helpful plus very smart. He knows his econ stuff but is kind of iffy in relating it to current events. Really likes you to present all sides equally. Political/Fiscal orientation: Unknown-----because hes that good are presenting both

Professor Huston is one of the most excited people you will ever meet. He literally jumps from one end of the classroom to the other while teaching. His lectures are super engaging and you wont ever find yourself drifting off. But you do have to put in a lot of effort for this class. Daily home work and hard tests.Pay attention and you will be fine

Huston is an awesome teacher! His FYS was really fun, just speak up in class which is easy. You can basically say anything. I learned so much about Economics. There is no lecture, 100 percent discussion. You have to read a lot of books. But they are interesting. Great Professor, really helpful!! :)

Extremely energetic and helpful. Many people find this class hard. If you understand indifference curves well at the beginning of the course, you're set, given that everything you didn't see in principles is an application of indifference curves.

Best economics teacher at Trinity! At first the class is really challenging and the hw's are a pain, but then you start understanding the different tools and realize the hw's are actually beneficial. As long as you go to class and make sure you understand all of the hw's the tests are more then doable. He keeps class entertaining too!!

Dr. Huston is AWESOME and so helpful. The homeworks are tough, and you definitely need to put some time into this class. Tests are very hard and based on the hardest homeworks. Amazing class, though, and would recommend Dr. Huston in a heartbeat.
